Singer Pete Doherty has been charged with seven counts of possessing drugs including cocaine and diamorphine, Scotland Yard has said.The Babyshambles singer, 27, is being held in custody ahead of his appearance at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday.The charges follow his arrest on three separate occasions in east London – on 20 and 29 April and 7 August.Doherty faces three charges of cocaine possession, two charges of diamorphine possession and two of having cannabis.
