I think we can all agree that Hugh Grant is one of the Kings of RomComs along with Richard Gere and John Cusack. The actor is always the guy who gets girls. But does he think he would keep them? Would his characters’ relationships have four weddings or a funeral?
“I’m sure they were all disasters. Those films were all lies.” Grant told Collider. “I’m sure that my character in Notting Hill and Julia Roberts’ character have been through the ugliest imaginable divorce with really expensive, nasty lawyers.”
In his defense, he did not get married until he was 57. Thus, it took him a long time to find his Mrs. Right. That might make any man cynical. Even one that seems to be as romantic as him.
