Some shows have such a crappy ending that the network eventually orders a revival to make up for it, like Dexter. Then there are shows like Six Feer Under that have such a beautiful finale that the network should leave it alone. At least, they should have done that.
Variety is reporting that HBO and Alan Ball are in the very early talks of bringing back the series in some form of the way. It is in such early development; they don’t know if it will be a reboot or sequel.
To me, they need to leave well enough alone because they will never recreate that magic again. They can try, but how many times have you said a revival or a sequel is better than the original. Not that often, so why do it?
