L2R: Josh Paul, Josh Stelly, Chris Daughtry, Joey Barnes & Brian Craddock
Two weeks ago I interviewed Daughtry at the music video shoot for Life After You about the Leave This Town Tour that starts tonight and they told me the tour is going to be hot. When I say hot, I mean literally because they told me pyrotechnics are going to be involved. They didn’t know what that meant at the time, but they were excited with the notion of adding fire of some sort to the their tour. That’s hot!
The 5 bandmates just came off small intimate club tour that was a gift for the fans and were looking forward to adding 6 songs more to their arena tour that goes until December 20th. So you would think because they are spending so much time together that they would be sick of each other? Not the case for Josh Paul, Josh Stelly, Chris Daughtry, Joey Barnes and Brian Craddock, these five friends enjoy the time together. They told me even you wanted to separate them they would still get together to play video games and such. They later added that one of the best things to happen them since they joined Daughtry is their friendship. Something you can feel as you see them standing together.
What initially got me into Daughtry was the music, but what makes me f*cking love them so much is just how welcoming they are to anyone that comes within their way. You feel like one of their friends as soon as you say hi to them. They really like to include their fans in what they do. In fact Chris Daughtry is constantly giving away free VIP tickets the shows on his Twitter page, so you should totally follow him so that you might be able to win tickets to one of the below dates. Plus as he told me, “It’s good to keep the fans updated. Sometimes I keep them update a little too much,” so you never know what he is going to Tweet about!!!
So if you want to know if Leave This Town is coming to a town near, check out the list below. And whether or not they are coming make sure to pick up the Daughtry’s second #1 album Leave This Town, it is so addictive you won’t want to take out of your CD player or off you iPod.
