First Zac Efron then director Kenny Ortega and now Chace Crawford have all danced away from Footloose. According to
Hollywood Insider a source says that he dropped out because of his production schedule for Gossip Girl and they are looking to begin shooting around the time the new season starts filming.
They added that Paramount will most likely be looking for an unknown to put on his dancing shoes. Footloose has not only lost their two leading males and the director but the script has also been rewritten and the film has been delayed for over a year, if I were Paramount I would take that as a sign not to remake the classic. Granted I am saying that because I don’t want them to make it!
