Seriously? OMG! WTF?

Fox’s recent Jason Reitman directed film, "Thank You For Smoking" recently dispersed academy screeners "for your consideration," to Academy voters. The jacket of the screener is conspicuously missing a key player, Miss Katie Holmes. Defamer.com reports that it was "an omission made even more glaring by the inclusion of pretty much everyone else who spoke a line in the film." There was earlier controversy over Holmes one sex scene that mysteriously disappeared when screened at Sundance film festival, and Defamer speculates Fox "executives there are probably as put off by the idea of Holmes’ Cruise era, contractually mandated, one-cursory-mating-session-per-billion-years sexuality as we all are, and don’t want her baggage tainting the other deserving candidates from their film." Thank You For Smoking depicts Tobacco industry lobbyist Nick Naylor (played by Aaron Eckhart) with a seemingly impossible task: promoting cigarette smoking in a time when the health hazards of the activity have become highly controversial. When a beautiful news reporter Heather Holloway (played by Katie Holmes) betrays Nick’s sexually-achieved trust, his world comes close to collapsing.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes arrived at Rome’s Ciampino airport on Monday with their daughter Suri, nearly 7 months, and Cruise’s children 13-year-old daughter Isabella, and 11-year-old son Connor, in tow. Upon arrival, the family alighted to the posh Hotel Hassler Roma, a five star hotel located at the top of the Spanish Steps. As Us exclusively reported last month, Cruise, 44, and Holmes, 27, will be married in Italy on November 18. Friends of the couple were notified in October to clear their schedules for the weekend of November 16 -19. Holmes’ wedding dress and Cruise’s tux are being designed by Giorgio Armani. The couple were already the picture of wedded bliss during a visit to NYC last week. According to the New York Daily News’ Rush & Molloy, the couple were “Velcro’d to each other” at the Conde Nast Black Ball benefit on November 9. When Holmes wasn’t clinging to Cruise’s waist, he was kissing her bare shoulders. In the meantime, Holmes is reportedly shunning dieting advice from BFF Victoria Beckham, 32, to whom she was glued during Paris Fashion Week. According to Page Six, the skinny soccer mom was helping Holmes lose her baby weight, but Beckham’s food restrictions were too much for Holmes. A source said, "Victoria maintains her tiny frame because she only permits herself to snack – not eat -on edamame, pretzels and occasionally sushi." Beckham also is a Diet Coke fanatic and told friends she hasn’t drunk water in years because she "hates the taste."

TOM Cruise and Katie Holmes may not get the romantic lakeside castle wedding they dreamed of. The Catholic priest in the Italian town they are said to have chosen says he cannot marry them as Cruise is twice divorced. And the mayor said they cannot have a civil ceremony because they have not done the paperwork. The Mission: Impossible star said in October that he and Katie will wed in Italy on November 18. The small town of Bracciano has been full of paparazzi since a newspaper reported it would be at Castello Odescalchi. And an electrician claimed the princess whose family own it had booked him to do rewiring before the ceremony. But priest Nicola Fiorentini said: "Cruise is divorced. Even if he were not, another fundamental requirement would be missing – the authorisation of the parish." And Mayor Patrizia Riccioni said: "I don’t think it will be legal – there are papers and documents we certainly don’t have."

At a press junket for Bobby on Nov. 4, Joshua Jackson took a stroll down memory lane to talk about his days as the lovable Pacey Witter on Dawson’s Creek as well as the upcoming TomKat nuptials. He admitted worrying about whether Dawson’s would be his only big break: “There’s a paranoid part of every actor that assumes every job is his last," he said. "Then on top of that you have to make the transition from a child to a man, which is hard as a human, but it’s particularly difficult as a performer. You have to find a new voice and a new way to communicate. I think that out of all of us, Michelle Williams has really found a way. She’s blazed our path.” When asked if the cast would be attending Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s Nov. 18 wedding in Italy, Joshua replied, “I think my invitation was lost in the mail.” Looks like TomKat’s wedding won’t be a Dawson’s reunion after all.

The Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes wedding will be a little different than most. Expect a bride’s side, a groom’s side, and a Scientologist’s side. That’s because Cruise is planning to fly over all the big name celebrity Scientologists to his European (Paris or Rome — take your pick) wedding in a plane he’s chartered especially for them. Sources tell me that Leah Remini, Kirstie Alley, Jenna Elfman, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, and Priscilla and Lisa Presley are all on the manifest. Remini is among the few people in the world to have actually seen Cruise and Holmes’s baby daughter, Suri, in person and commented on her. Indeed, only members of Cruise’s Scientology circle were offered to the press as those who’d seen Suri before her pictures appeared in Vanity Fair. The plane is being booked by Cruise’s personal staff, and should leave Los Angeles several days before the November 18th wedding in Italy. The guest list, insiders say, also includes all the top dogs at Scientology including leader David Miscavige , Helio and Earthlink founder Sky Dayton, and Cruise’s best friend, Tom Davis, son of actress Ann Archer. Davis was Cruise’s constant companion in between Cruise’s Penelope Cruz and Katie Holmes chapters. He turned up unexpectedly at the premiere of "Collateral," where guests were surprised by his resemblance to the movie star.
