Marc Anthony needs to sit Tom Cruise down and either show him how to dance or tell him not to dance in public. That was just another moment to add to the Tom Cruise is so sad list. I used to have a list for how hot Tom Cruise is, but that was ’80s and ealry ’90s.
What’s a bit of sofa-jumping between friends, eh? After being dumped for behaving a bit odd, Tom Cruise has now been welcomed back into the Paramount film fold. Viacom boss Sumner Redstone, who heads up the Paramount film studios, severed ties with the Mission Impossible star six months ago. Tom’s sacking came about after his rather bizarre television declaration of love for Katie Holmes, which involved some pretty energetic leaping about on Oprah Winfrey’s sofa. Concerns about Tom’s outspoken beliefs about childbirth and post-natal depression also led to the falling out with Paramount. However, Sumner says he is ready to forgive and forget. "We had to do the best thing for Viacom. The company was disturbed by Tom’s then behaviour which has now changed," Sumner said of the spat. "I would probably work with Tom in the future but not immediately."
I wonder what happened to change Sumner Redstone’s mind? I mean Tom Cruise hasn’t had anything to promote in a long time (MI3), so that is why we have not seen any of his wacky interviews. When it comes time for him to promote Lions for Lambs, nutty Tom Cruise will be back.
Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller are teaming up for "Hardy Men," a buddy action comedy based on the fictional teen sleuths known as the Hardy Boys. The long-in-development project sees the Hardy Boys grown up but not speaking to each other, having been estranged for many years. They are forced to overcome sibling rivalry when they reunite to solve a mystery. Shawn Levy is attached to direct the film for 20th Century Fox, which is hoping for a shoot in 2008. The project is out to writers. Stiller and Levy are stars on the Fox lot thanks to their collaboration on the holiday hit "Night at the Museum," which has earned more than $460 million at the worldwide box office to date. "The Hardy Boys" was a long-running book series that began in 1927 and was written by various ghost writers under the pen name Franklin W. Dixon. The series focused on two teenage brothers, Frank and Joe Hardy, amateur detectives who often assisted their father, a private detective, in solving crimes. Cruise and Stiller previously teamed up to shoot a behind-the-scenes spoof of "Mission: Impossible II" for the MTV Movie Awards.
Since both of them are on my must not see movie list, there is no way in heck I would go to see this. That is my excuse, what will be anyone’s excuse who actually does go to see it? I mean the two of them together doing this story is worse than all Razzie noms put together. Whoever greenlit this movie should be fired before they can say Hardy.
Well that is what came to my mind when I saw these pictures of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Posh Spice, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony all in the same car? And we all know who wears the pants in this quintet…J-Lo.
Damn you LA Galaxy because this is what we have to look forward to from now on.
It’s hasn’t even been two months since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes tied the proverbial knot in Italy, but reports are already circulating that trouble is brewing in the couple’s relationship. As for what is causing friction in the newlyweds’ wedded bliss, well Cruise’s controlling nature, and his determination to make Katie change her interests to the ones he likes is the reason being touted. According to the latest issue of In Touch magazine, Cruise is not only putting a limit on how much time Holmes spends on the phone talking to her pals, but is also trying to make her give up hobbies like karaoke for his interests like shopping and attending his kids’ sporting events. The magazine also revealed that trouble was also brewing during the couple’s glitzy L.A. wedding reception, when Holmes was chatting with Kirsten Dunst and Orlando Bloom about the popular nightclub Hyde which is a usual haunt for the under 30 Hollywood celebs. he trio were making plans to go to the club when Cruise reportedly threw cold water on their plans by telling Katie that it was "not" the place for him, or her to go to. "Kirsten said they had invited Katie to Hyde, and Tom got a concerned look on his face. He said, ‘Oh, that’s no place for you or me to go, Kate," In Touch quoted a source, as saying. The result, Katie left the group looking highly embarrassed. "She looked really embarrassed…It was like she’d just gotten into trouble," the source added.
Wait she has friends she can talk to on the phone? I would love her to go to Hyde one night in a short skirt and no undies and get out of the car the wrong way because you know that would kill Tom Cruise and throw him over the breaking point!!!
