Go to the mall with The Neighbors tonight!
October 3rd, 2012 under The Neighbors. [ Comments: none ]

The Neighbors moves to its new timeslot on ABC at 8:30p and to celebrate they are going to go shopping!
Now that the Weavers have moved into Hidden Hills, Larry Bird and Jackie Joyner-Kersee think that Reggie Jackson and Dick Butkis should go to an Earthling school. Only problem is they don’t know how to dress for one, so the Weavers suggest they go shopping at the mall. The experience will be an interesting one before they even leave the gated community because the aliens have never been in a car before. Let’s just it doesn’t go well, but it is funny to watch. Granted as funny as that is, it is not as funny as what happens at the mall. All I will say is that someone winds up naked.
I wish going to the mall was as fun as tonight’s The Neighbors, maybe if it was I would go more often.

Get to know your favorite new The Neighbors tonight!
September 26th, 2012 under The Neighbors. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9:30p The Neighbors makes it debut on ABC and you are not going to want to miss my favorite new show of the fall season. In 2001, a group of aliens have come to Earth to learn more about our planet. They move into a gated community and take over all of the houses. They will stay there until they get word from their home planet that is time to come home. Then 10 years later and still no word, one of the couples have decided to leave and return home. But before they checked out, they sold their house to some humans. The Weavers have no idea what they have gotten themselves into because they think they have just moved into the beautiful Hidden Hills community in NJ, but they are surrounded by aliens who are wearing human skin.
So even though Larry Bird (Simon Templeman) and his wife Jackie Joyner-Kersee (Toks Olagundoye) have lived here for a decade, they don’t know anything about the third rock from the sun. So it will be up to Debbie (Jami Gertz) and Marty Weaver (Lenny Venito) to teach them our ways.
I cannot even begin to tell you how hysterical it is to see these two worlds (literally) collide in this comedy that has that classic ’80s feel but modernizes it for today. You will find yourself laughing so hard, that gook will be coming out of one of your orifices. Is it a smart comedy like the ones on some of the other networks? No it isn’t, but what it is is something that everyone in the family can enjoy together. And don’t we need more shows like that on our televisions? So add this out of the world lineup to your viewing schedule, I promise you will adore it as much as I do!
