Grey’s Anatomy bloopers!
September 15th, 2009 under Bloopers, Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: 1 ]

Before we watch George die on the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy next Thursday, we can watch his former-cast members flub up their lines from last season! There were some really cute mess ups in that gag reel! But the best one is when Patrick Dempsey says, “I’ve lost a patient. Izzie’s dead!”, too bad that was only a blooper and didn’t make the show. Maybe we will get to hear him really say those words for real this season on the show!

Grey’s Anatomy buries George O’Malley!!!
July 28th, 2009 under Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday I posted that TR Knight refused to come back to Grey's Anatomy to film what would've been an awesome goodbye to his character on the show and basically ruined it for us fans! So imagine how happy I was when I saw these pictures of Justin Chmabers, his only fan left Katherine Heigl and Ellen Pompeo filming his funeral scene!!! By the looks of it they could care as much as I do that he is gone from the show. Oh and by the look of these pix we get the spoiler that sadly Izzie lives and will be healthy enough to go to his funeral. And I would assume she gets her memory back because why else would she leave the hospital to go to a burial of someone she doesn't remember?
BTW Splash posted a picture of George O'Malley's casket!

TR Knight ruins Grey’s Anatomy for us

As we all know TR Knight wanted out of Grey's Anatomy and he got his wish. What we didn't know until now, is Shonda Rhimes wrote a great goodbye for him for the season premiere but he refused to come back for just one episode for whatever fans he had left.
Here is what Shonda told EW's Michael Ausiello she wrote for him…

"I wanted to see his last day [alive] really badly," she says. "What I thought was interesting was the idea of, we now know it's the last day of someone's life, [so we’re] looking at it differently than [we] would any other time."

Viewers would have also seen firsthand how George's split-second decision to save that girl's life cost him his own. "I wanted to see the moment he leapt in front of the bus," Rhimes confirms. "I wanted to bookend the episode [so that] the first time you see him leap in front of the bus, it's really scary. But the second time you see it, he's a hero.

"I thought it would have been a beautiful episode," she continues, adding that, had we seen those missing hours, "We might have learned something new about George."

After reading what Shonda had planned for George, I am really bummed we won't get to see him hit by a bus not once but twice. I was really hoping for an awesome hit by a bus death scene like the ones seen Final Destination 1 and Nip/Tuck. Seriously I understand he is disgruntled that he was barely used last season, but he should've manned up and done one last episode to give everyone closure. Plus he could have used the press to promote his Broadway appearances. Because without Grey's he is yesterday's news, I already stopped caring about a long time ago. I really liked George when he first started on the show, but he became forgettable just as fast. And now thanks to this he is forgotten by me.

Proof The Ugly Truth is a bomb?

Yesterday when Katherine Heigl and Gerad Butler were doing their junket for The Ugly Truth at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, someone called a bomb threat in to the hotel according to People. The two spent 2 hours outside with the 400 other evacuated people before a new place was found for them to continue doing press. Police did not find anything suspicious at the hotel, but I wonder if the bomb was the movie itself and one of the reporters called it in…

Who will die on Grey’s Anatomy?

So when Grey’s Anatomy ended its season it was unknown who would die on show? Would it be Katherine Heigl or her BFF TR Knight? Tonight Marc Malkin is reporting a decision has been made for one of them and we will be saying goodbye to George O’Malley. He also added that Izzie’s fate is still undecided, but I think she will be back, don’t you?
Thankfully the show didn’t keep both characters on the show because I would have felt really jipped had both characters flatlined in the season finale and then they both survive in the season opener.
