Kerry Washington was on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon was questioning her about the “explosive” season finale of Scandal. The NBC late night wanted to know what explosive means. Of course, she did her best Olivia Pope and didn’t say anything.
But then she eventually blurted out, “I will tell you this, when we finished the table read for this finale, I was so shocked, that I looked at Shonda and said, ‘Where do we go from here? How do we even have fifth season after this'”
I wonder who pissed off Shonda Rhimes so much that they won’t be returning in the fall? Who will be joining McDreamy and Harrison in Shondaland hell?
Even though she doesn’t know how the show will go on, you know it will. Even though ABC hasn’t yet picked up any shows for next season, you know this one will be on the schedule. Even if Washington doesn’t know.
How do you think season 4 will end? I gave up the show during the third season, so I have no idea.

Earlier this week, there was a report that Patrick Dempsey was acting like a Divo on the set of Grey’s Anatomy and it made it seem as though his time on the show would be limited. Well, turns out it’s very very very very limited because he did an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly talking about his departure from the show. Wait, what? Paige, a subscriber, received a copy of the magazine a day early, and was surprised to see that they announced that he is leaving. You see the pivotal episode airs on ABC tonight at 8p, and the promo shows that Derek is in a car accident. So fans of the show were waiting to find out if he lived or died. Now they don’t have to wait to watch the episode because thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we know that he is dead.
EW confirmed the validity of the story to Variety in a statement, “We are surprised that an EW subscriber may have received their issue a day earlier than planned. We always try our best to bring readers exclusive news first. We would like to apologize to fans of the show that learned the news ahead of time.â€
The revelation also makes sense because ABC announced that today they are preempting Scandal next week to make room for a two hour episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Guess they want to milk the fact that people are actually talking about this show again. Something they haven’t done in a while because let’s be real, it has sucked for years.
With only a few people left from the original cast, it’s time for ABC to pull the plug on this medical drama. They won’t do it, but they should.

If you are still watching Grey’s Anatomy, then you are probably wondering why Patrick Dempsey isn’t on it as much this season? Page Six looked in to it, and several sources said that his attitude is infuriating the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes. One source is quoted as saying, “Patrick has been acting like a diva and has clashed with Shonda. She suspended him for a while, and the word on set is that he isn’t coming back full time.†His rep denied the allegations to the paper.
McDreamy is still under contract for another season, so it will be interesting to see if he will still be there in September. Heck looking at the promo for this week’s episode, it will be interesting to see if he makes it to the season finale. But then again it is Grey’s Anatomy, and they have like a major disaster and “so called” memorable episode every week. So you can’t really blame if he wants off the show that has become a complete joke of what it once was. Remember when you used to look forward to the next episode? That was a long long time ago.
Viola Davis is very serious on How to Get Away with Murder, but don’t forget she has a fun side. One you can see when she teaches Elmo about the word “fiesta” on Sesame Street. Maybe this teach the teacher to have a party on her ABC drama every now and again. Because who doesn’t look better when they are having some fun.
Scott Foley Instagrammed a photo of his co-star, Tony Goldwyn, without a shirt and who knew the President was hiding that under his suit. So why is the Scandal star holding a dog topless? He was showing solidarity towards Foley who recently posed the same way for Charisma.
If Scandal’s ratings ever start to drop, they can get them back up by making their male actors do as many topless scenes as possible. Who’s with me?
