Fox announced today that Ryan Seacrest will host the 59th Emmys on September 16th. He can add that to his list of hosting duties…American Idol, a morning radio show, E! News, Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve, America's Top 40, the entertainment part of the Super Bowl, Merv Griffin's funeral, the Cohen Bar Mirzvah, and whatever else comes his way. Sadly he did not inherit The Price Is Right from Bob Barker, the only thing he didn't inherit from a Hollywood legend.
BTW I think he will do an excellent job as a host of the Emmys because he has a great personality and good timing!!!

|  On the same day it was revealed that NBC paid Paris Hilton $1 million to give them her first post-jail interview, Ryan Seacrest got her on the phone for free! E! News Live will be milking, I mean airing the interview tonight and tomorrow. In the interview she told him, "In a way, I'm really glad this happened, because it changed my life forever." She then told him, "I'm so much more grateful for everything that I have, even just to have a pillow at night or food," Hilton told Seacrest, "You know my gratitude has gone up so much and I just realize that the media used me to make fun of and be mean about it." she added, "frankly sick of it and I want to use my fame in a good way." She also talked about what it is like being behind bars/glass "I am behind glass and I want to give my dad a big hug and they won't even let me do that. That's how the rules are, you have to be behind glass…I'm not a criminal, I'm not dangerous, so it makes me feel like that. It's hard but I'm stronger everyday." How long do you think the new Paris Hilton will last? I don't give it a month and you? Here is what she said she was looking forward to when she gets out, "I just can't wait to see my family and have a nice meal and be in my own bed and appreciate all the things I took for granted and never really thought much about." So maybe it will be longer than a month. Paris also confirmed what her medical issue was that made Sheriff Lee Baca release her early, "I'm claustrophobic, and my cell is really small. It's hard. There's nothing to do but basically sit. A room with a bunkbed and a toilet and a desk. I was going a little bit crazy in the beginning. I'm getting used to it now."
Paris loves her fan mail, "I'll reread the letters, and I literally cry. It fills my heart and my soul," she said. "So much love. I had no idea there were that many people who cared." So if you want her to read your letter, you better send it now because she looks to be getting out of jail on Monday.

|  E!’s resident red carpet monkey Ryan Seacrest is not pleased with Angelina Jolie giving him the brush-off when he tried to interview her at the Golden Globe Awards Monday night. Seacrest, who was covering the event as part of E!’s pre-show, went off on Jolie on his KIIS-FM radio show in L.A. on Wednesday morning. “I asked her four questions and she didn’t even answer me,” he complained. “I literally stood there and tried to ask a couple of questions. At one point I just kind of let the E! microphone sit in front of her for a second to see if she was going to acknowledge it, and she clearly wanted nothing to do with me or my question or my answer or any of it.” Seacrest was more forgiving of Jolie’s other half, Brad Pitt, who was standing next to her during the interview and did most of the talking. “Brad was fantastic.” The host went on to praise the actress for her charity work, but complained about her dour expression on the red carpet: “I think doing good is fantastic. A lot of people are benefiting around the world from their doing of all of these nobles things. But smile." Cohost Ellen K then came to Angie’s defense saying, "Well, she has said that she finds all these award shows a waste of time and money." "Well then don’t go,” Seacrest shot back. “Don’t go. Don’t go support your man. Don’t go."

 David Hasselhoff’s daughters have reportedly landed their own reality show, which will revolve around their dad’s turn in "The Producers" in Las Vegas. The show, "Hoff Broadway," will be filmed during the Hasselhoffs’ upcoming stay in Sin City. Hasselhoff will make his "The Producers" bow at the Paris Hotel & Casino next month. The star agreed to let E! Entertainment cameras follow kids Taylor Ann, 16, and Hayley, 14, while he’s treading the boards as Franz Liebkind in Mel Brooks’ hit musical comedy – after hearing American Idol host Ryan Seacrest would be producing the series.
