Jimmy finally takes a big chance with Sabrina on tonight’s Raising Hope
February 14th, 2012 under Raising Hope. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9:30p Jimmy (Lucas Neff) finally takes a big chance with Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) on Raising Hope and you will have to tune in to Fox to see if he made the right choice.
Valentine’s Day is a day away and Virginia (Martha Plimpton) wants her son to be with the woman he loves, so she does something drastic. She calls Sabrina and tells her that Jimmy has a new girlfriend to make her jealous. Well it worked because Sabrina convinces him to go on a double date. Only problem is he doesn’t really have a girlfriend and he needs to find one ASAP. In comes Virgina again who sets him with Mary-Louise (Ashley Tisdale) from her Improv group and now he has a fake girlfriend. Mary-Louise will make Jimmy look so good that Sabrina will finally break up with her boyfriend. Now that she is free he is finally going to tell her how he feels…and scene.
That is where the review screener ended, so just like you I will have to tune in to find out. And you will want to watch because it is the sweetest and most romantic episode of Raising Hope to date. Two things that are perfect for Valentine’s Day whether you are with someone or not.

Raising Hope brings the arfdorable!
January 31st, 2012 under Raising Hope. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight on Fox’s Raising Hope at 9:30p, Hope’s nursery school puts on a show and her daycarf buddies suit up for the occasion. How arfdorable are the pups all dressed in suits like that? If that picture is any hint how good tonight’s episode, I can’t wait to bark about it!
Seriously if you have never seen Raising Hope, why don’t you start tonight because the man’s best friend wants you to watch them so badly they put on a tie for you.

Tonight’s Raising Hope scores an A+ from me!
January 17th, 2012 under Raising Hope. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight’s Raising Hope on Fox at 9:30p starts off with Cloris Leachman wearing her bra over a shirt, so you know it is going to be good and as the episode goes on it gets ever funnier. When nearly two year old Hope proves that she is smarter than her dad and her grandparents they all decide to go to night school to get their GEDs. This will prove to be a difficult task because the teacher (Fred Willard) they had when they dropped out of high school is teaching the class and he remembers The Chances and won’t make it easy on them. They will all try different techniques to learn the needed material and in some ways it will work and in others it will fail big time. You will have to tune in to see how it all turns in this episode where GED stands for Great Entertaining Delirium. That works, right?
BTW my favorite part of the episode has nothing to do with the plot but a shirt that Burt wears. It is worth taking a Chane on the show just to read what it says. The T-Shirt is a total classic that could only work om this show and I want to make sure everyone gets the joke like I did. You don’t need a GED to understand what the shirt means.
Oh and Glee will back on Fox at 8p with an all new episode.

BTWF ads: Martha Plimpton for Calvin Klein
December 13th, 2011 under Before They Were Famous, Raising Hope. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 6:05 in)

Before Martha Plimpton was a grandmother Raising Hope, she remembered being born for Calvin Klein. She looks exactly the same now as she did when she was just 12 in that 1983 commercial.

What if The Chances weren’t Raising Hope?
December 13th, 2011 under Raising Hope. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9:30p The Chances go to the movies and find out their lives are being turned in to a comedy and not in a positive way. When they find out that it was all Jimmy’s (Lucas Neff) fault, he wishes he never was Raising Hope and just like that it happens. Since she wasn’t born things have changed like MeeMaw (Cloris Leachman) is dead (you have to watch to find out how), Virgina (Martha Plimpton) is fat, Burt (Garret Dillahunt) is a Wayne Campbell and Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) is not-so-innocent anymore. As Jimmy goes back in time to when his daughter was conceived, he finds out how it all went wrong and you will be surprised by who almost becomes Hope’s dad and how in this hysterical episode that will have laughing so hard you will pee in your pants! So tune in for the funniest take on It’s a Wonderful Life ever seen on TV!
