Heidi Klum’s Sixteen Candles moments
March 3rd, 2011 under Project Runway. [ Comments: none ]

Heidi Klum was at Elton John’s Oscar party and she had a Sixteen Candles moment with Ross the Intern on The Tonight Show. Remember that scene where Sam gave Farmer Ted her underwear at the school dance and he went on to show them off in the bathroom? Well the supermodel sort of did the same thing when she gave the Celebrity Fit Clubber her underwear to give to Jay Leno right there on the dance floor instead of in a car. Now I have to wonder who went into the bathroom first with those panties…Ross or Jay? Either way whoever did there were a lot of boys who ran in to see the former-Victoria’s Secrets’ model’s undergarment!
BTW she really has balls for doing that. Although I am sure sadly due to the mirrored floor, we can tell that she doesn’t really have balls. And on that note, why Tori, why??? Why did she have to wear crotchless Spanx and tell and show that she was. I threw up in my mouth.

Take that Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, Heidi Klum wears Mondo’s dress!
November 12th, 2010 under Project Runway. [ Comments: none ]

WireImage
So during the season finale Of Project Runway Michael Kors and Nina Garcia argued that neither Heidi Klum or Jessica Simpson would wear Mondo’s tight-fitting floor-length polka-dot dress on the red carpet even though they said they would and gave the win to the undeserving Gretchen. Well yesterday at The Black Swan premiere the host wore the dress and she looked absolutely gorgeous! Even more proof Mondo should have won over Gretchen. I really respect Heidi for keeping to her word and it really made the super model even prettier than she already is!
So here is my propostion to Lifetime dump Nina Garcia and Michael Kors because I am sure I am not the only one who wouldn’t miss them. Auf wiedersehen!

The ’80s weren’t fashionable for Tim Gunn!
May 21st, 2010 under Craig Ferguson, Project Runway. [ Comments: none ]

So Tim Gunn has been doing this (’80s Edition) Style Tips segments on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and after last night’s I had to share them with you. When Tim Gunn describes the guy’s mullets as “Business up front and party in the back. Unfortunately the party is at Chachi’s house and Joanie’s getting tag teamed by a couple of Sweat Hogs,” I freaking lost it. I don’t know the last time I laughed so hard. The line itself is brilliant enough, but the way Project Runway’s mentor delivered it, it was just perfect. He made it work! You know what it is a Friday, so back and watch them because it will make your long week so much shorter!
And for a night cap check out the Peabody winning show on CBS at 12:37a when Ben Kingsley is a guest!

Heidi Klum gives Jay Leno a much needed makeover
April 21st, 2010 under Project Runway, Talk Shows. [ Comments: 1 ]

Heidi Klum got a new look and she felt Jay Leno needed one too, so the Project Runway host gave him one. First she stated by teasing the Tonight Show host’s hair, but then the pièce de résistance was she spray painted the front of his hair black. The new look was a complete mess, and he needed it. I disagree with her that it made him look 10 years younger, and I hate to admit it but I think her new haircut makes her look 10 years older.
BTW do you think he really spray paints the front part of his hair? I think it was a set up, but if it was real then that is really sad. Just like…

The Weinstein Company is looking for the next Model of the Runway!
September 3rd, 2009 under Project Runway. [ Comments: none ]

The best part of Project Runway moving to Lifetime is we got Models of the Runway! The show that airs after Project Runway on Thursdays at 11p goes behind the scenes with the models that up until now have been silent and let’s just say they have a lot to say. It’s about time we finally heard what they had to say about the designers and the clothes they design.
So are you a model and think you could walk the Project Runway and make Models of the Runway interesting than The Weinstein Company is looking for you!!!

Hopeful models can enter the Models of the Runway Casting Challenge on myLifetime.com, MySpace at www.myspace.com/modelsoftherunway or ProjectRunway.com, where they can complete an online application and upload an introductory video and three photos of themselves. They will also be required to submit other materials, including a brief essay that outlines why they feel they deserve to be on Models of the Runway and how, if selected, it would change their lives. Functionality for Models of the Runway Casting Challenge will be provided by leading online interactive casting site GotCast.com.
The winner of the Models of the Runway Casting Challenge will be selected from a multiple round, online voting process in conjunction with guidance from the Program’s producers and Lifetime during the final stage of the competition. Call for entries and the first round of voting on myLifetime.com, MySpace and ProjectRunway.com will end September 20, 2009, when the challenge’s contestant pool will be reduced by approximately 25%. Remaining contestants will be required to provide additional videos and information to secure more online votes to advance to the third round. The Models of the Runway Casting Challenge contestants will then be put through the next round of online voting, with five prospective models scheduled to be announced on October 31, 2009. The winner will be unveiled in November of this year.

Hurry up and enter and if you do let me know! BTW don’t forget to watch Project Runway tonight on Lifetime at 10p where the designers work in pairs and you know that spells tension. And that is not the only show we will see tension on tonight because from the previews of Models of the Runway that airs at 11p looks like not all the models are getting along!!!

In other Weinstein Company news, the critically acclaimed independent movie studio has acquired the rights to The King’s Speech. The movies tells the story of the man who would become King George VI, the father of the current Queen, Elizabeth II. After his brother abdicates, George ‘Bertie’ VI (Colin Firth) reluctantly assumes the throne. Plagued by a dreaded nervous stammer and considered unfit to be King, Bertie engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist named Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush). Through a set of unexpected techniques, and as a result of an unlikely friendship, Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country into war. Sounds like a really interesting movie and you know TWC will do it right!
