So David Letterman and The Late Show took to Twitter to announce that Lindsay Lohan was going to do the Top 10 on his show on Thursday. She responded back on Twitter by saying, “I am NOT going to be doing David Letterman, I’m not sure how this happened, but I am sorry for the confusion…” Well today not only did CBS send out a press release explaining the confusion, Letterman also addresses it on his show tonight on CBS at 11:35p.
Below is the press release and above is the video, thankfully the show has a sense of humor about one of their Top 10 mistakes.
“Lindsay Lohan will not be delivering a Top Ten list on Thursday’s LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, as had been previously announced. We made a mistake. Someone purporting to be a friend of Lindsay’s reached out to the show yesterday, allegedly on her behalf, and booked her to appear. Clearly, this person was not authorized to make commitments on her behalf. We wish Lindsay well, and look forward to having her on the show in the future.”

Tara Reid held a Golden Globes Awards (since her chances of ever getting nominated are…like I have to tell you) party yesterday and that should be scary enough. But what was even scarier is Jesse James’ mistress Michelle “Bombshell” McGee posed with Michael Lohan like that. It is enough to make Lindsay Lohan go back to rehab just to hide from the shame of it all
Less than a month after being released from her jail/rehab sentence, Lindsay Lohan has failed her court mandated drug tests and she took to her Twitter to talk about it.
Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result.
Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps
forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future.
This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences.
I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard,
but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful….Thank you all!!!
It is so sad she is flushing her career and life away. She had such a bright future at one point in her life and now she is wasting whatever she has accomplished for drugs. I mean you would think that being in jail and rehab would have taught her something, but 3 weeks later she is failing her drugs tests…so sad.
Maybe this will be the wake up call she so desperately needs, afterall Robert Downey Jr was able to turn his life and career around maybe she will be able to do the same.

Michael Lohan is continuing his press tour and today he was Fox News Channel’s Studio B with Shepard Smith! Well Shep aired a picture of Michael Lohan eating dinner and then Lindsay’s dad defended himself by asking, did they show me giving food to the homeless? So the FNC anchor was like maybe if you spent half as much time with her back then… Well Lohan didn’t hear the back then and went into a rant how he is doing all of this stuff to help his daughter now. He then concluded his argument by saying, “”Don’t tell me how much time I spend helping my daughter or going out to eat dinner or how much time I spend in the F*cking gym.” Shep responded by saying “Oh come one now, this is a family place. Apologies.”
Shep then asked him where he sees this going and Lohan responded by saying, “It could end in death!” I thought it was ending with her going to jail and rehab?
Now back to the rant before he dropped the F-bomb, he said that he flying back and forth, following her, calling narcotic agencies and meeting with the DEA. WTF? Why doesn’t he just deal with her, oh that’s right she has Tweeted she wants nothing to do with her.
Now on the back then? I think the reason why he wasn’t there for her is because he was in jail. He spent over two years behind bars and got out shortly before she had the two alleged DUIs in 2007.
Finally I just love Shepard Smith!!!
UPDATE: Here is the full segment of Shepard Smith interviewing Michael Lohan. It was actually a really good interview because Shep called him out on a lot of things. He really is a great interviewer.
Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days in an in-patient rehab facility today for violating her probation. She has up until July 20th to turn herself in.
The judge felt that she did not follow her probation requirements by being a no-show several times to her mandatory weekly alcohol-education classes. Lindsay pleaded her case to the judge, crying as she told her that she didn’t know she was in violation of being a no-show because she claimed she was misinformed. The Judge did not seem to buy her excuses and sentenced her to be locked away for 180 days. Lindsay broke down and cried as the judge sentenced her.
I wonder if now that Lindsay Lohan knows she has two weeks until she has to go to jail if she will stay in tonight or go out and party. Sadly for Lindsay she can’t party too hardily because the judge is making her wear the SCRAM bracelet until she turns herself in. Poor Lindsay desperately needs a drinks and she can’t have one.
