Now that Hugh School Musical is over and so a thing of the past, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have split. According to what sources told E!, “It’s nothing dramatic. There’s no third party involved.” And another source added, “They were together for so long. It just ran its course.” Or I’d would like to think their contract ran out… Either way Zac is a free man and I am sure there will be plenty of women vying for him…especially since he is over 21!!!
Vanessa Hudgens did a very nice thing for a little girl. According to Norm Clarke, the High School Musical star flew to Las Vegas to make a terminally ill child’s wish come true for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The 9 year old girl is hospitalized and suffering from a rare brain abnormality.
I think that it is so sweet that she took time out of her schedule to make a girl’s last wish come true and didn’t do it for publicity. I am not normally a fan of her’s but this made me like her.
Vanessa Hudges is stripping away her sugary sweet High School Musical image in her next movie Sucker Punch according to what she told Metro.
'I'm playing a character named Blondie and it's set in a brothel in the 1950s, so there's not a whole lot of clothes.'
'It'll be gun training, stunts, fighting and all that craziness. I can't wait. I'm so excited. I've wanted to do an action film for a while.'
'I think this is my time to really step it up and get to grow up. It will be somewhat different with the content and a few more foul words but that's the biggest difference.'
Yeah that sounds a lot like High School Musical…not. I mean is there going to be corny singing and dancing throughout the movie too?
But seriously can someone explain to me how doing an action movie in a 1950's Brothel sounds like a good idea? With her acting and that premise, I think we have a Razzie nominated movie coming our way!!!
BTW playing a hooker doesn't always work to changing your child star image, look what it did for Eve Plumb aka Jan Brady's career…
Before Vanessa Hudgens was BFFs with Taylor in High School Musical, her BFF was Lauren on Still Standing. How cute was the 13 year old before she filmed the movie Thirteen back in 2002.
So Marc Malkin asked Vanessa Hudgens if she would do a nude scene and here is what the High School Musical star told him.
"I will show nudity in a film when the time is right," Hudgens, 20, told us at this weekend's Diesel Only the Brave cologne launch party in West Hollywood. "Right now, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it, but like I said, when the time's right, if it's an amazing movie that I'm really passionate about and that's what it calls for, then we'll see."
Anyone shocked by her answer? It isn't like we haven't already seen it.
