2020 is tough even for Michael Myers
October 26th, 2020 under Halloween (movies). [ Comments: none ]

We know that Halloween is going to be tough on kids this year because they will not be able to go trick or treating due to COVID-19 restrictions. It will also be rough on teens because they won’t be able to party. But, has anyone considered what the coronavirus pandemic means for Michael Myers?

Andrew Kasch did, and it is a sad story for the serial killer. Since there is no one who is out and about, there isn’t anybody for him to take out. Thankfully, there is always that one person who doesn’t follow the rules. Michael gets his Lauri Strode, and we get justice!

Jamie Lee Curtis, Halloween’s Scream Queen, is planning something for 10/31
September 24th, 2020 under Halloween, Halloween (movies), Jamie Lee Curtis. [ Comments: none ]

Thanks to COVID-19, Halloween is basically canceled. All because of those covidiots who won’t wear a mask the other days of the year.

Ever since 1978, Halloween has been a huge thing for Jamie Lee Curtis for some reason. Therefore, she still wants it to be a treat for everyone.

“We can figure out creative ways for our pods to do candy scavenger hunts and fun activities at home and we can still do virtual Costume parades,” Curtis said. “I will figure out a way to do a VIRTUAL Halloween costume parade on my Instagram all day long on Halloween, October 31. Stay tuned for details and stay safe and HAPPY Halloween.”

Hopefully, her brother, Michael Myers, won’t crash the event because he is a literal party killer. Although that might be a good thing for us to watch.

BTWF: Paul Rudd in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers

Before Paul Rudd was super strong as Ant-Man, he needed that strength to take on Michael Myers in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers. How kick-ass was the 20-year-old in that 1988 movie?

Halloween Kills then Ends
July 19th, 2019 under Halloween (movies). [ Comments: none ]

John Carpenter announced today that we are getting not one but two more Halloween movies. On October 16, 2020, Halloween Kills comes out. Then the saga continues on October 15, 2021, with Halloween Ends.

He did elaborate on what those titles mean, but I think we can all assume that this version of the franchise will be over with Ends.

I might be in the minority but I was not wowed by last year’s Halloween. It was too slow and did not add anything to the Halloween movies. I hope they do a little more than just Lauri and Michael’s story and let him kill away as he did in the ’70s and ’80s.

Would you open a door with the Halloween logo on it?
October 19th, 2018 under Halloween (movies). [ Comments: none ]

Crypt TV put a small makeshift room on Universal CityWalk with the Halloween logo on it and dared tourists to open it. When they did, inside was a Michael Myers lookalike. How did they react? Same way moviegoers will this weekend. First, they say it, then they do it.
