Rob Zombie is rebooting The Munsters for the big screen later this year. Today, the writer/director gave us a little sneak peek of his interpretation of Herman, Lily, and Grandpa by having those characters recreate the opening of the TV series.
What do you think of the teaser? I am on the fence. It will be interesting to see if Zombie will keep the humor that the ’60s sitcom had or will he go dark and twisted like his other movies.
I am really hoping he goes for the comedy. Although, the guy playing Grandpa looks scary. He is no Al Lewis.
And on that note, to see how perfectly the cast captured the essence of the original, then click here!
We know that actors are spoiled on movie sets. However, the producers didn’t want the pumpkins in Halloween Ends to get spoiled. So they made sure that they had their own fans that would keep them real as they filmed the final movie in the franchise.
“HALLOWEEN CONTENT When we made the original Halloween movie in 1978 I think we had three pumpkins that we had painted and maybe one that had the guts to cut out of it. We shot in March. There was also only one bag of dried leaves that we kept raking up and throwing into the shots,” Jamie Lee Curtis explained. “44 years later the budgets for the movies have grown, as has my waist line, but not to any great amount. Cost of living etc. etc. Excuse the pun. The talented art department was challenged with a lot of pumpkins in this new movie and of course the refrigerated truck that we stored them all in naturally stopped working. Rotting pumpkins is a very interesting smell and that will be a hard day for the team that has to dispose of them. Just a little BTS to show you what goes into one of these movies. Details. Details. Entrails. @halloweenmovie”
With treatment like that, I want to dress up as a pumpkin and be an extra in that movie.
Several movie-goers went to see Halloween Kills in Indiana, and they had a big treat waiting to trick them after the movie ended.
Chris Oliver, who is a Michael Myers impersonator, was at the movie theater waiting for them to come out. How did they react? They ran right back in because after seeing this horror movie, you don’t want to see anyone wearing Captain Kirk’s death mask and blue coveralls while holding a knife.
While they might now want to see it. I love seeing them seeing him! It is the perfect amount of evil! Especially after how the second to final movie in the franchise ended. But I said too much.
Before Kyle Richards was afraid of the other housewives on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she had someone to be truly horrified of in Halloween. How impressive was the 7-year-old in that 1978 movie?
On October 15th, the second to last Halloween movie is coming out. If you know you are going to be ending, then you are going to go out in a bang. And that is exactly what they are going to do with Halloween Kills.
Larrie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is not going to take on her brother alone. She is going to have help from her daughter (Judy Greer), her granddaughter (Andi Matichak), and other people who survived going face to mask with Michael Myers. Not all of them are going to make it to the final movie, but they are not going to go down without a fight.
Halloween just got a whole lot scarier, and I can’t wait to see how.
