Before The League and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia debut their new season’s on FX this Thursday at 10p, you can own last season on DVD now. Each DVD and Blu-ray set includes several special features that are as funny as the season itself.

The special features on The League’s DVD and Blu-ray are:
Blooper Reel
Deleted Scenes
Alt Nation
Three Penis Wine
Vaginal Hubris extended
Birthday Song
Legalize Kevin’s Pubic Smoke
Mr. McGibblets Fun House and Dojo
Andre: Dress with Style, Win with Style

The League’s bloopers, deleted scenes and a compilation of improved jokes will have you in hysterics, and the full versions of Jon Lajoie’s songs will have you in stitches. Plus you have all of the episodes to re-watch and re-laugh with over and over and over again!

The special features on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia DVD and Blu-ray are:
Commentary on several episodes
Season 5 Blooper Reel
Deleted and Extended Scenes
Kitten Mittens Endless Loop
The Gang’s Dating Profile
Schwep Dream Sequence

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia or where ever you are after you watch the Kitten Mitten Endless Loop! I am seriously bummed that they didn’t come with the DVD because I so want a set for my cat. Now forgetting all that cuteness let’s talk a show that is the opposite of cute, but that is what makes it work. So imagine how much fun it is to see when things don’t work for the cast and they suffer a blooper or scenes that didn’t work for the episode. Plus it is fun to see their dating profile, who else besides me is surprised they date at all? If you watch the show, you so know what I mean. Another fun feature on the DVD and Blu-ray is being able to watch the episodes as the cast talk about it. Did I mention the awwwdorable and addictive Kitten Mittens Endless Loop special feature?
Both seasons are a must own, and both are very reasonably priced so buy them now because they will make your day more Sunny!

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia when there’s a baby on the way
March 16th, 2010 under FX, Kaitlin Olson. [ Comments: none ]

(photo from FX)

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s real life couple Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney are expecting their first child in August. The actress told People, “Rob and I are so excited it’s stupid,” Olson says in a statement. “The last couple years have been pretty amazing for us and just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, the greatest little thing in the world happened! We’re totally beside ourselves.” No word from FX if her pregnancy will be written into the show that is back in September. I don’t think they can, but you never know with this show maybe they will make her surrogate to someone or a drunken night with a man she doesn’t remember so she doesn’t know who the daddy is. Actually scratch that, I hope they write her pregnancy in.
The two were married in September of 2008 and they were the second couple who met on the show to tie the knot, but the first one to breed.

Damages is back for more damge on FX tonight
January 25th, 2010 under FX. [ Comments: none ]

Glenn Close is back as Patty Hewes in Damages tonight on FX at 10p and this time her case is ripped from the headlines. For season 3 Tom Shayes (Tate Donovan) and her are helping the victims of a Bernie Madoff like scam. Rose Byrne is back as Ellen Parsons, but she is not working for Hewes and Associates. She is working for district attorney’s office now and of course they are also involved with the same case as her old employer. Joining the show this season are Lily Tomlin and Martin Short and both are excellent additions to the show. Lily Tomlin plays the wife of the Bernie Madoff character and I have never seen her look prettier than she does as a red head for the show. Martin Short is their lawyer and who knew he was such a good dramatic actor. Now when it comes to the story, you know Damages you have to let the whole season play out for it all the make sense. And when the season ends one of the original cast members will be dead dead…that is the other mystery for season 3. So don’t forget to tune into Damages tonight and every Monday at 10p on FX because you can’t miss a second of this show or you will be lost!

FX will continue to play fantasy football with The League!!!
December 10th, 2009 under FX. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight is the season finale of The League and I am happy to write season as compared to series finale because FX announced that it was picking up the show for a 13 episode second season that premiere next summer!!! But before we get to next season we have to find out who wins the Shiva Bowl tonight on FX at 10:30p! Tonight’s episode is no different than any of the others as in it will have you laughing hysterically! Now that Andre is dating the real Shiva, how will the guys react when they find out? Even more important how will they react when they find out what she does? Let’s just say two of the guys will get felt down by Shiva by the end of the episode, one professionally and one for fun!!! Taco gets a job and wait until you see who would actually hire him and why he wanted to get a job there? But the most important development tonight is who wins the Shiva Bowl and how everyone will react to it including Shiva!!!
So make sure to watch The League on FX at 10:30p to find out who wins the Shiva, but before you watch that see another competition on FX’s It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia at 10p!!!
It is Flip-adelphia on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the guys want to win it this year. When the old competition doesn’t want to play they go to college to find some new competitors and learn that college frat life could be fun. See how far the guys will go to win and if the 4 losers will finally be victorious in an episode that will have you in hysterics!!! Oh and I mention you will see Frank aka Danny DeVito in something he should never ever put on again? You will have to watch the episode to see what I am talking about!

Paul Scheer talks about The League
November 5th, 2009 under FX. [ Comments: none ]

Paul Scheer plays Andre on FX’s The League and he told me about his role and the show at the premiere last week. The League is a hysterical show about 5 lifelong friends who are in a Fantasy Football League together and besides all of them trying to win it, it also deals with their lives outside of it and how their friendship gets them through it. You don’t have to know anything about Fantasy Football to enjoy this show, you just have to love to laugh at things you shouldn’t.
Paul Scheer described his character to me, “Andre is like this insane fun character because he is desperately trying to fit in. He is successful in his real life, he makes a ton of money, he is a successful doctor, he dates women, but in his group of friends he is that loser that they went to high school with and he will never be able to lose that. And that is a fun character to play. To have everything disposable, but still to never be able to up himself in their friends’ eyes.” The stuff his friends does to him will crack you up and make you feel bad for him because they are always picking on him. Like on last week’s episode when he shows them he framed his first joint he smoked when he was in college, and his friends told him that there was never any weed in it but just pubes. How messed up is that? Tonight he finds out that two of his friends are Eskimo Brothers because they did his sister when they were much much younger and he didn’t know about it until now. When I asked him if his sister was going to be on the show, you have to watch the interview above to see how I caught him off guard and how adorable he was when he realized what I was asking!
So what is coming up for Andre in the upcoming episodes? He told me he goes on a Mancation with one of his friends and it becomes bromantic, that sounds interesting. And on next week’s episode he joins another league and his friends are not happy about it. Now when it comes to the actors and a Fantasy Football League, Paul Scheer told me although he has never played in one before the show, he is leading their league! Not bad for a first time.
So besides kicking a$$ in the real life Football Fantasy League what else does he have going on? He is starring in a show on HBO called Funny or Die Presents and in April you can see him the much talked about Piranha 3D. But before all of that check him out tonight and every Thursday on FX at 10:30p for one of the funniest shows on TV now!!!
