Weddings are a joyous time, and Blanco Brown wants to Git Up and celebrate with you on your big day.
“No competition… I genuinely wanna make someone’s wedding extra special and on my own expense. I’ll fly to your wedding and sing my new favorite song ‘I’ll Never’ at the beginning and end the night with ‘The Git Up’…” he wrote. “All you have to do is tag a couple or yourself and tell me a lil bit about your love; things that you don’t mind sharing publicly!!! I Love To Love…. #Purpose”
Does anyone know a single guy I can marry so that I can get the Country singer to play at my nuptials? Joking. I think?
Seriously, this is such a generous offer from Brown. His music is perfect for a wedding party. And I’ll Never is great for the newlyweds’ first dance.
Back in September, Blanco Brown was in a car accident that left him with such serious injuries, he was not able stand or sit up for a while. He spent the last few months rehabbing, and there is one thing he hasn’t done since then. That thing is the line dance he created for his song Git Up.
When a fan saw him getting out of a car, he put on the tune and started dancing. That was all it took to get the Country singer to do his dance for the first time since his accident.
Brown is back better than before. I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us. That is besides a duet with Darius Rucker.
Blanco Brown’s single The Git Up is so much fun that a company made an animatronic horse that plays the song and dances to it.
As soon as the country singer got his hands on one, he had to test it out. There was only one problem, the cute little doll took one too many steps to the left, to the left, and did the slide off the table. I don’t think that is what he meant when he sang, “Do the slip and slide” in the tune.
Luckily no horses were harmed in the making of this video.
BTW My birthday is coming up. If anyone wants to buy me one, I would do a Do Si Do if you did.
We have seen celebrities ask other celebs to work on a project together via social media. Most of the time, the asker never hears back.
Well, yesterday Blanco Brown tweeted, “Who would like to see a collab between me and @dariusrucker?!?! Wishful thinking but it will be legendary if it happened!!!🕺🚀🍿”
Then 2 hours and 5 minutes later, Darius Rucker responded with, “Come on. Let’s do this.”
How did the Git Up singer react? “I’m starting on record asap!!!,” he wrote.
I can’t wait to hear their duet. I am sure it will make us want to git up and dance.
I am a huge fan of Brown, so I am thrilled that this going to happen for him.
On August 31st, Blanco Brown was in a serious headon collision near his home in Altanta. After the accident, he was rushed to the hospital where he underwent his first of two 12-hour operations. Now, The Git Up singer is out of the ICU and on the road to an expected full recovery.
Yesterday, he shared a photo of the helmet he was wearing. It is scratched up, but it is pretty much intact. Proving that helmets do save lives, so wear one.
Along with the photo of his arms in casts and the helmet, he has a message for his fans. “Firstly, I have to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for sparing my life and keeping me whole!!! The fact that I’m here and still in my right mind is God’s proof— I feel so blessed!
“This helmet cushioned my impact and without it things would be more complicated, all my riding gear showed true to its quality @indianmotorcycle 🦾
“To my fans, friends and family, I love you from the top to the bottom of my heart! I wanna thank everyone for all of the prayers and support! It means the world to me.
“I fought for my life, I fought to see all y’alls faces and those smiles again, and I fought to share my purpose…God ain’t done with me yet, we’re just getting started! #trailertrap #love”
Hopefully, he will be better soon and be able to git up out of the hospital.
