Jennifer Hudson addresses the rumors on her blog

More Rumors

hey guys. once again i think its time to address these rumors thats been going on about me. there are 3 main ones that has been floating around and i want to address them personally so you guys can know the truth

1.) i turned down a movie role for 3 million dollars because of a nude scene and i wasnt the person getting nude. nothing about that is true. i want to do my album. and my fans have waited so patiently for me to put out an album and i appreciate everyone of you, thats why im focused on putting out my first project. and yes i will continue to still do movies.

2.) all of the american idol stuff and burger king comments. i never said anything about if i was better at burger king i would not be there either. and yes i did say american idol was a stepping stone. which it is! i didnt mean it in a bad way. and as i said in my previous interviews american idol is a stepping stone because had it not been for them no one would of knew of a jennifer hudson to call to audition for dreamgirls! its like everything i say referring to the show gets twisted around and makes me look like im being arrogant and a "diva", since alot of people seems to have that opinion about me and that is not me at all. im not bothered by these rumors because im use to it but i do read the boards and i see my fans are upset by some of the negative rumors concerning me and that is what hurts me the most is to see people who care about me being impacted by all of this.

3.) the soul train awards show and me trying to sabotoge it by not showing up. only thing i can say to this is that i was there! and i appreciate being honored there just as much as i appreciated being honored at the all the award shows i attended. but once again im just writing this for my fans, supporters, and friends who want to know the truth. i am a person with feelings and although i have been warned that things like this would happen to me. and since i am new to this let me be the first to tell you that i have sat back not to long ago just like you guys .I read things about my favorite artist and let me tell you since im experiencing this first hand you guys cant believe everything you read because its not true. o one more thing. im grateful for all my blessings and i thank God for it everyday and no amount of fame will ever go to my head and make me think that im better than anyone because we are all equal. and as quickly as God gave everything he has given me he can take it away!

Frenchie Davis vs Antonella Barba
March 6th, 2007 under American Idol 1-5, American Idol 6. [ Comments: 2 ]

Before you read her quotes, I have to put my two cents in. I think there is a big difference between the two and I do not think that American Idol made any mistakes how they handled both situations. Frenchie Davis was paid to pose topless for a porn site geared for men who wanted to look at underage girls. Frenchie might have been over 18 at the time of the photos, but the people reading it did not know that. So I am sorry, but Idol did the right thing by dumping her. Also Idol says you can stay as long as you tell them about your past beforehand. She waited until after the she made it to Hollywood until she told them about her photographic past. She should be grateful that Idol even featured her at all because it was her time on Idol that helped to make her the star she is today. Let's be real if she didn't do Idol, she would probably be still be posing for porn sites. Now when it comes to Antonella Barba, she posed for a calendar for her boyfriend and someone posted those pictures online. It was something done for one person and she did not intend for it to go public like it has. Oh and she wasn't paid to do it. And when it comes to the pictures of her with her friends it is a girls will be girls type photos, we were all teens and most of us have a picture like that? If not, you know you secretly wish you did. BTW the pictures of her going down on a guy were proven not to be her. So I have no problem with her staying.

EuroWeb spoke to Frenchi Davis and she had this to say, "I had stopped watching ‘American Idol’,” Davis admitted, “and I’ve tried to avoid even speaking about or thinking about what happened four years ago. But I couldn’t help but overhear what was happening with Antonella. I couldn’t help but notice the manner in which she was dealt with was the complete opposite of how I was dealt with.” “When I first discovered that I had made it to Hollywood and found out I would be competing to get into the top 30 and then later in the top 12, they had given us all this paperwork to fill out, background checks and that whole thing. So when we were doing that I had a discussion with some members of the production staff and I exposed to them a piece of my past; that when I was 19 years old, I took some pictures and that’s not the person I am [anymore]. I wanted to be upfront about it. We talked about it and then nothing happened,” she said. “They had decided that because ‘American Idol’ was a family show, that they could not have me on the show because of the pictures I had taken – though they had never seen the pictures,” she recalled. “I gave them the benefit of the doubt,” Davis said, resolved during the incident. “And when I learned that pictures had surfaced of this young lady, I didn’t really think anything of it. But when it came out that they had decided they were not going to kick her off the show, that – to say the least – raised an eyebrow.” Fox Network and the producers of “American Idol” could start by "issuing her a public apology and then she would negotiate with them from there."

Today TMZ reported that a bunch of the religious girls are unhappy with her pictures and  been cold to her. I say people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. OK I am done with my two cents…what do you think?

SIAS, Fantasia will sing on Thursday’s American Idol
February 21st, 2007 under American Idol 1-5. [ Comments: none ]

(photo from Dlisted
USA Today's Idol Chatter is reporting that Fatansia Barrino will sing on Thursday's result show. I wonder J Records is doing this a test to see if this will help her sell some more CDs and if doesn't they will drop her?
Another rumor for a potential singer to perform on American Idol 6 is…Jennifer Lopez. American Idol Worship is saying that she will perform on April 11th. No offense to AIW, I just don't believe this one, but she does have her first Spanish album coming out, so maybe she will need to exposure!

Ryan Seacrest has more to say about Angelina Jolie than she had to say to him
February 19th, 2007 under American Idol 1-5, Angelina Jolie, Brangelina, Ryan Seacrest. [ Comments: none ]

E!’s resident red carpet monkey Ryan Seacrest is not pleased with Angelina Jolie giving him the brush-off when he tried to interview her at the Golden Globe Awards Monday night. Seacrest, who was covering the event as part of E!’s pre-show, went off on Jolie on his KIIS-FM radio show in L.A. on Wednesday morning. “I asked her four questions and she didn’t even answer me,” he complained. “I literally stood there and tried to ask a couple of questions. At one point I just kind of let the E! microphone sit in front of her for a second to see if she was going to acknowledge it, and she clearly wanted nothing to do with me or my question or my answer or any of it.” Seacrest was more forgiving of Jolie’s other half, Brad Pitt, who was standing next to her during the interview and did most of the talking. “Brad was fantastic.” The host went on to praise the actress for her charity work, but complained about her dour expression on the red carpet: “I think doing good is fantastic. A lot of people are benefiting around the world from their doing of all of these nobles things. But smile." Cohost Ellen K then came to Angie’s defense saying, "Well, she has said that she finds all these award shows a waste of time and money." "Well then don’t go,” Seacrest shot back. “Don’t go. Don’t go support your man. Don’t go."

Us Weekly

Good for him because I thought he handled the situation with class, Joan Rivers would've ripped her a new one. Don't let her get to you Ryan, you are better than that!
