Archer is back on FX tonight at 10p and he meets his idol Burt Reynolds. Only problem is that Burt is dating someone very close to him, his mom and he will do anything to sabotage the relationship. Everything about this episode will change your perception of the Cannonball Run star, but in weird way you will be OK with it because that is what Archer does.
Then at 10:30p Unsupervised makes it debut and you are going to want to watch the realist animated show I have ever seen. I was honestly shocked by how much I loved it.
It is the story of two teens trying to survive in high school even though their parents aren’t there to help them out. Gary’s (Justin Long) father ran off and left him with his stepmother who doesn’t want to raise him, so he can do whatever he wants. His best friend Joel’s (David Hornsby) parents are a lot older and they also don’t care what he does. So now they are trying to fit in, but have no idea how to do it. Thankfully Gary has a neighbor who is willing to help them out because his cool teenage daughter (Alexa Vega) wants nothing to do with her single immigrant father. They also have a friend Carol (Kristen Bell) who is one of those self-confident loser who realizes she wants to fit in just like everyone else.
So whether you were like one of these characters when you were high school or you knew one of those kids, you are going to enjoy this show. They live out scenarios that could have happened to any of us whether we grew up in the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s (like the creators) or today. You will be as surprised by how real this show is and how much fun it is to watch. This is not your normal animated show, but it is based on normal life.
