The Prom is on tour, and it stopped in Providence, Rhode Island. The place has a special meaning for the show’s star Sinclair Mitchell. And now, it is even more special for him and his boyfriend, Joey.
That is because the actor proposed to his partner of over 12 years in front of Joey’s family after a weekend performance.
“I just want you to know, most importantly, I love you. You’re my sun, my light, my shining star. You are perfection, and you’re the reason I believe in love. And now, I want to profess to the world, to your family, to your friends — and some people I don’t quite know — that from this day until my last day, if you will have me.” Mitchell asked.
What did Joey say? Yes! Who wouldn’t after those sweet words!
