June Emerson took a photo of her 12 year old son, Quinn, and his friend swimming in the ocean by Manhattan Beach on Friday and didn’t realize what she captured until she looked at the pictures later on. If you look at the wave, you will see what appears to be a shark in it.
Imagine the fright she had when she realized that her son was so close to the great white. Even though she knows what it is, she told
KTLA that she lied to her son and said it was a dolphin behind them. She doesn’t want to deter him from entering the water that they go to on almost a daily basis.
If it were me, I’d never go in the ocean again if I saw that I was that close to a shark. Would you?
