The Guinness World Book of Records has added a new hot dog to its pages.
Tokyo Dog in Seattle has created a wiener that is so expensive, it costs a record breaking $169. What makes it so expensive? The foot long dog called the Juuni Ban “contains smoked cheese bratwurst, butter Teriyaki grilled onions, Maitake mushrooms, Wagyu beef, foie gras, shaved black truffles, caviar and Japanese mayonnaise, all served up in a brioche bun.” Sounds yummy to you? Then call the food truck two weeks in advance if you want to try it. All proceeds from the world’s most expensive hot dog go to the American Red Cross.
Since I am from NYC, I will stick with the boring old sauerkraut and mustard. What do you like on your red hot?
