[ # ] The CW to swap Sunday and Monday nights?
October 5th, 2006 under WB+UPN=CW

The CW is mulling a major sked change, while Fox has unveiled a new post-baseball primetime lineup that makes changes on three nights of the week. In other primetime programming news, CBS has given a full season order to soph drama "The Unit," while things aren’t looking good for the Eye’s "Smith." NBC is also insisting it’s sticking by "Kidnapped." At the CW, "7th Heaven" and new drama "Runaway" may soon shift to Sunday nights. Two skeins would be replaced on Mondays by the net’s current Sunday slate of laffers, including "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Girlfriends." Move makes sense, given that CW predecessor UPN did well with comedy on Monday nights for the past few seasons. What’s more, "7th Heaven" — which had remained solid on Mondays when it aired on the WB — has disappointed this season. While it’s unlikely "Heaven" or "Runaway" will do much better on Sundays, the CW stands a good shot of improving its Monday numbers by airing laffers on the night. A CW rep declined comment.

Hopefully this will help Everybody Hate Chris because The CW buried a great show on Sundays at 7p
