Before Wendi McLendon-Covey played an ’80s mom on The Goldbergs, she was a teenager during that decade. And she had the hair to prove it.
Here is what she wrote about that photo: “My senior picture from Millikan High School still hangs in my parents’ bedroom. My bangs were banging, and hosted many birds 🤣. Don’t even type the word Aquanet with your boogery fingers. I used Finesse aerosol hairspray because I’m classy. I wore Lancome eyeliner in Peacock in my waterline AND around the rims of my eyes because of FASHION! And on days when I wasn’t wearing my cheerleading uniform to school, I wore high heels because FLAT SHOES ARE FOR QUITTERS! Anyway, I think about this girl a lot. What a difference 39 years makes.”
And yet she still looks the same, but with flatter hair.
