Selena’s story has been told as a movie and a series, and now it is going to be told as a documentary.
The definitive doc about Selena Quintanilla is almost here. Selena y Los Dinos: A Family’s Legacy, will tell the story of the beloved Mexican American artist and her family band, who started out performing at quinceañeras and ended up selling out stadium tours. Directed by Isabel Castro (Mija, Darlin), the documentary is executive produced by Michele Anthony and Selena’s siblings, Suzette Quintanilla and AB Quintanilla III, who also played drums and bass guitar in the band. The film chronicles the late star’s life and legacy through never-before-seen footage from the Quintanilla family’s personal archive.
It will be interesting to hear the singer and her family talk about her career and life that were cut way too short.
