Dionne Warwick was slated to be a headliner at the Soul Town Festival on Saturday, but she had to cancel at the last minute.
Her management explained, “Dionne was experiencing pain in her leg and, after visiting her doctor, was taken in immediately for emergency surgery on Monday, 1st September. Walking will be difficult following the surgery and she will not be able to fly until her doctors give her the all clear.”
The 84-year-old expressed her disappointment for the cancellation, “Please know how disappointed I am not to be with you at the Soul Town Festival. The last thing I expected was to have surgery the day I was to fly to London. Pain was unbearable and my doctor rushed me into surgery thank goodness, as it could’ve resulted in something far worse. Hopefully we can do this festival again in the future, and I’ll be walking like a normal person.

Hopefully, she will be back on both feet soon. Until then, say a little prayer for her.
