I love Kristen Chenoweth, but… I really grown to hate our National Anthem. Why is never presented by, like, a professional chorus (and not that J6 abomination)? It feels like it’s been relegated to being forever destroyed by some GOD AWFUL, screechy rube-voiced Country / Western singer.

I am of an age where, at around 1AM, the broadcast networks would conclude their day and stop broadcasting. The last thing they played before going to the over-night test screen (yes! That was a thing!) was the US Marine Corp or Air Force band playing our National Anthem, along with some photo montage of America.

Oh, to go back to those days!
