One of our guilty pleasures is to tune into AGT. This season, we totally missed out on the auditions (categorically the best part of the series) because we did not realize it was on until the show was into the semi-finals. Oy…the bar was certainly set low this season. Obligatory “Dog act” (okay, the dog was good), warbling/awful C&W duo, twerking dance troupes, repetitive rope acts, a “drone art” act(?), child/young adult “virtuosos”, etc. We thought the best act was Learnmore (comic).
Other than Learnmore, nothing… nothing… was astounding. We DVR’ed all of it so that we could bypass the hype and nonsense.
