Thirteen contestants will be flown to an island, and they will compete for the largest prize in the game show’s history. Along with playing the classic game, they will also take part in challenges and mind-bending dilemmas. Manganiello and the Banker will guide them as they make the toughest decisions of their lives.
The iconic briefcases are back and are hidden on the island (sounds like we won’t get the next Meghan Markle) with millions in prize money split between them. In each episode, players vie to get their hands on the highest-value briefcase for a chance to gain immunity and choose a fellow player to enter “The Temple,” where they must play a high-stakes game of Deal or No Deal. The devious Banker is always watching and will raise the stakes with tests of strategy and greed. And at the end of the season, only one person will be left standing for the biggest deal, or maybe no deal…
Now, let’s talk about how awkward things must be for Howie Mandel. He works with Sofia Vergara on America’s Got Talent and produces her estranged husband on this show. Yikes. I am sure this was all in the works before the estranged couple filed for divorce, but still.
