Cate Blanchett suffered a head injured during a live performance of A Street Car Named Desire in Sydney yesterday when she was hit by a radio. The script calls for her to be hit by the radio, but for some reason something went wrong according to what an audience member told
Adelaide Now.
“She had blood streaming down the back of her head and blood on the back of her neck,” she said.
“She acted for about another 30 seconds, then ran into what we thought was the next scene, but before we knew it the lights were turned on and we were told there were technical difficulties and everyone had to evacuate the Sydney Theatre Company.”
The Oscar winner is doing better and as they say, “The show will go on.” Maybe Cate should stick to movies for her health?
