Doc McStuffins’ fifth season will be its last
April 4th, 2018 under Disney Kids, Lara Jill Miller. [ Comments: none ]

Even though Doc McStuffins is a very popular cartoon with the toddlers and preschoolers, Disney Junior has decided to end the show. Parents love the positive message that the cartoon teaches their children and they fought hard to get the show another season. Which makes it so shocking that the fifth season will be its last one.

Lara Jill Miller, who voices Lambie, broke the news on Twitter today. She wrote, “Yesterday marked the end of an era- I recorded my last episode of our last season of #DocMcStuffins. What an amazing journey I’ve had for the past 8 years. ‘If you’re a toy, then you’re in luck.’ I sure was!! I’ve been so very lucky and blessed to be a part of such an inspiring, meaningful and baaaa-eautiful show. Thank you @chrisdocnee for picking me to be the one to give the cuddles. Now excuse me, I have to go mend my broken-heart-itis…💔 xo #lambie.”

She is not the only one suffering from broken-heart-itis, kids around the world feel the same way. Even though we know that the fifth season will be its last one, those final episodes still have to air. The final season will start airing later this year and continue into next year. Tell your kids that good news first.

BWTF ads: Lara Jill Miller for Gimbles
January 24th, 2018 under Before They Were Famous, Lara Jill Miller. [ Comments: none ]

Before Lara Jill Miller was living in the Loud House, her house was loud thanks to the stereo system her father got at Gimbles. How awwwdorable was the 14-year-old in that 1981 commercial? Her face hasn’t aged a day since then.

BTWF ads: Andre Gower for Atari 2600’s E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial

Before Andre Gower was part of The Monster Squad, he was in a commercial for a video game that brought down Atari 2600. How cute was the 9-year-old playing the E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial videogame back in 1982?

Now, how I found out about this ad is an interesting story. The Goldberg’s creator Adam F Goldberg went on Twitter asking if anyone knew who was in that commercial. Gimme A Break’s Lara Jill Miller Tweeted him back that it was her childhood friend Andre Gower. Gower also confirmed it was him. See Hollywood is a small place after all.

BTW when I saw Goldberg’s Tweet, I did some research and also found it was Gower. Imagine if they had the internet in the ’80’s? Then that game would have buried much deeper in New Mexico! Like Area 51 deep.

Remember Lara Jill Miller?
August 15th, 2017 under Lara Jill Miller, Remember?. [ Comments: none ]

Lara Jill Miller grew up before our eyes on Gimme a Break, but looks like she stopped ageing when the sitcom ended. Seriously, the 50-year-old actress hasn’t aged a day in the 30 years since comedy ended its run in 1987. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that she voices Lambie on Doc McStuffins and The Loud House’s Lisa that keeps her looking so young? Whatever it is, she looks amazing for someone who is half a century old. Can you believe that she is the big 5-0?
