I don’t know about you, but I cannot remember the last time I was part of a Conga Line. However, Dylan McDermott can tell you the last time he had his hands on someone’s shoulders and who was shaking their tuchas in front of him.
It was Thanksgiving with Patti LuPone, Nathan Lane and Joe Mantegna leading the way. No matter how hungry you are, there is always time for a Conga. Come on, shake your body baby, do the Conga.
Now, I remember the last time I did the group dance, I was in Miami at a Christmas party. We were all having a blast. That and we were all drinking the special egg nog.
This holiday, get your friends and family to join in and do a Conga Line or the Bunny Hop. It will break whatever tension is going on. Let’s be honest; there is always tension that needs to be broken up during the holidays!

Now we can finally tell Dylan McDermott and Dermott Mulrooney apart. That is because the former is bald. Or is he? Nope. It is just skullcap for an upcoming project he is working on. With or without hair, he is still sexy.
Back in 1997, we were all hoping to have a moment where we would all break out into a Burt Bacharach song at a restaurant with our friends just like they did in My Best Friend’s Wedding. I don’t remember the rest of the movie because that moment drowned out the rest.
Anyways now 21 years later, Julia Roberts, Dermot Mulroney, Cameron Diaz and Rupert Everet all reunited to talk about that iconic film to Entertainment Weekly. I didn’t read the article, just like Playgirl I just read it for the photos. Seeing them all together brought me joy. Now I cannot get I Say a Little Prayer out of my head. I just wish other people would sing it with me at this restaurant and not look at me like I am crazy.
Even though LA to Vegas finally solved the Hollywood mystery, which one is Dermot Mulroney and which is Dylan McDermott, it was not good enough to save the show from being cancelled after just one season. Which is sad because it was the funniest new show of the year.
I think if it aired on FX, it would have gotten a second and third season. Instead, it will never take flight again.
Fox made a lot of mistakes with the 2017-2018 season and this was just one more. Thank you for the laughs and the McMulroney episodes, I will treasure them forever along with the show.
