Love & Hip Hop & a baby for Ray J and Princess Love
November 27th, 2017 under Brandy and Ray J, The Real. [ Comments: 1 ]

Ray J and his wife Princess Love, of a year, have been very vocal about their fertility struggles and today on The Real, he had some happy news to share. The Love & Hip: Hollywood stars are expecting their first child together in 2018. He really does not care what it is, but he is hoping it is a girl who is a little more peaceful than a boy.

As of now there is no tape of the baby being conceived because he is not sure what night it happened. On that note, if it is a girl, I wonder if they will name her Kim. Most likely not.

Would the cast of Moesha do a reboot?
November 3rd, 2017 under Brandy and Ray J, Revivals-Reboots, The Real. [ Comments: none ]

The cast of Moesha reunited on The Real today and the hosts wanted to know if they would a reboot? Without hesitation Brandy Norwood, Sheryl Lee Ralph, William Allen Young, Countess Vaughn, Shar Jackson, Marcus T. Paulk, and Ray J all said, “Yes!”

Then Moesha brought up a really good point, the show ended on a cliffhanger. Thus, we never found out who was pregnant and if they ever got back Miles who was kidnapped. Hey Paramount Network, looks like Moesha would be a great pairing with Heathers, so make it happen. Who else wants to know what would have happened 16 years after the sitcom ended?

My Kitchen Rules totally rules!
January 12th, 2017 under Brandy and Ray J, Fox, Lance Bass. [ Comments: none ]

I try to watch some screeners without knowing anything about them, and I am glad that My Kitchens Rules was one of them. That was me and I am going to tell you why you need to watch this Fox show tonight at 9p.
Brandy and Ray J Norwood, Lance Bass and his mom, Andrew Dice Clay and his wife (yes he has one), Naomi Judd and her husband Larry Strickland, and Brandi Glanville and her ex-husband’s wife’s ex-husband Dean Sheremet all cook for the other ones and only one team will win.
On tonight’s season premiere Brandy and Ray J host the first dinner party at their home for everyone including professional Chefs Cat Cora and Curtis Stone followed by the Basses at their abode for the second outing. Each team has to prepare an appetizer and a meal for everyone, and then the dinner party guest and the Chefs vote how yummy the food was. The team with the lowest scores after everyone has entertained goes home until there is one.
Those are the logistics, here’s what’s not in the description. Brandi Glanville is that bitch you didn’t want to invite but had to and all she does is say stuff that insults everyone that is there. You just want to kick her out, but you can’t. She is just horrible and at each party she says something so shocking and rude you wonder why they don’t say anything to her. Since you are not there, it is fun to watch.
The rest of them are also entertaining, just not as much. Andrew Dice Clay is much nicer than you thought and funnier. Larry Strickland is the coolest one of the bunch. Ray J will surprise you while Brandy with a y isn’t taking Brandi with an i’s sh!t! Then there’s Lance Bass and he is just as you would expect. But then again his mom is there, so he has to be on his best behavior.
All of this as we find out that celebrities can cook. But the best dish served is this show, so make a reservation because you don’t want miss it.

Brandy plays to an unpacked crowd!
August 22nd, 2013 under Brandy and Ray J, Concerts/Tours. [ Comments: none ]

Brandy played a concert at FNB stadium in Soweto after a game on Sunday, only problem is that no one seemed to know about it. In fact according to The Guardian only 40 people stayed to hear her sing. That number sounds even worse when you consider that arena can hold 90,000 at capacity. To make matters worse Brandy was able to see how many people were actually in the audience because someone left the lights on. Once she realized that that was all there was going to be, she walked out after singing 2 songs.
If that doesn’t bruise someone’s ego, I don’t know what does.

Ray J on hosting the Bad Girls All-Star Battle
May 21st, 2013 under Brandy and Ray J, Oxygen. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p Oxygen got the baddest girls from the past 11 seasons Bad Girls Club to fight it out in Bad Girls All-Star Battle and only one them can be the baddest girl of them all and $100,000 richer. Ray J is the only man in house with these ladies and he is more than the host of the show.
I was recently on a conference call with Ray J and he talked about how good this show is, what’s a “Bad Girl” and did he hook up with any of them?

How good is tonight’s episode?:

It’s going to be intense. Make sure you watch the first one because it’s a 90-minute. We had to make it 90 minutes instead of 60 because it just – it got that intense.

What is a “Bad Girl” to him?:

My description of a real bad girl is a girl that never gives up, a girl that is confident in herself, a girl that has been through things and maybe has been knocked down and got right back up and kept fighting and kept going. And you know a real true bad girl is a girl that has maybe been through some things, but still is a winner and continues to go on with her life as a champion.

Is it bad to be a “Bad Girl”?:

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being a bad girl. I think whatever you go through in life, as long as you learn from it and grow from it, I think that that’s the special thing about life, and second chances, and tomorrow.

Why the viewers will connect with the show:

I think besides the challenges, you know besides the drama that comes along you know with the Bad Girls Club and the Bad Girls All Star Battle is there is substance behind this show. I mean some of these girls are coming on this show to win this money for real positive reasons and reasons that I think is really going to connect with the viewers. Like there is one girl, Flo. She is trying to win the money to help her daughter you know have a better life you know as a single mom. Another bad girl is trying to help her brother get out of foster care, and I think her winning the money will help her do that. So besides it being a great show with challenges, there is also substance to this show and certain reasons why these girls are here is real touching and that’s one of the things that really connected me to the show as well.

Was he able to keep it together during the emotional eliminations?:

It was tough sometimes, but I made it through. I made it through and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in hosting and even just you know being on TV. I mean it was unforgettable.

Did he hook up with any of the girls?:

Oh, no. No. I’m – you know, I’m totally – this is professional, man. Like I plan on doing this for however long, you know, the ride goes. So you know the saying. I don’t where, I, you know. But all of the girls are hot. I’m not going to even front. They’re beautiful girls. But for me, I got to stay professional. I got to lay out the blueprint, and then they got to execute.

Before Bad Girls All-Star Battle, I have to admit I only thought of him as the guy in Kim Kardashian’s sex tape. But after meeting him and speaking with him on the conference call, I have learned he is a really nice, charming, good guy. Nothing like I thought he would be. Because he is not the bad guy we all perceived, it really makes me want to watch this show. I think his big heart is going to make him a really good host and that is reason enough for me to watch. But the drama and competitiveness between these Bad Girls might even be more of a reason. So tune in Tuesdays at 8p to see the baddest show on television this summer!
