Lady Gaga’s documentary gets a Netflix release date!
August 24th, 2017 under Lady Gaga, Netflix. [ Comments: 4 ]

Lady Gaga might only be Five Foot Two in stature, but her career is a giant. What goes on in her life when she is not in front of her Little Monsters? All will be revealed on September 22nd when her documentary is globally released on Netflix.

The streaming service described it as, “Emmy-nominated filmmaker Chris Moukarbel (Banksy Does New York) pulls back the curtain to introduce the woman behind the performer, the costumes, the glitz and the glamour. Off-stage, in the studio, unplugged and at home, audiences get an unguarded glimpse at Gaga through a series of personal highs and lows and the culmination of a year’s emotional journey. From struggles with relationships to health issues, from finding solace in her inner circle to conquering her insecurities, Gaga: Five Foot Two navigates the divide between life as a superstar and life as an everyday woman.”

You can tell that there is so much more to Mama Monster than meets the eyes, so my eyes are looking forward to seeing what she is like behind the scenes.

Has Lady Gaga hit hard times?
June 29th, 2017 under Hard times, Lady Gaga. [ Comments: 2 ]

Lady Gaga played the Super Bowl earlier this year, won a Golden Globe for starring American Horror Story, has more Grammys than we can count, is filming A Star in Born with Bradley Cooper and yet she was seen working as a substitute teacher. Has she hit hard times? She has not but school kids are, and she is using her stardom to make a huge difference for the academic sucess.

Mama Monster teamed up with Staples to “support education and create a positive classroom experience through our Staples for Students program. We’re donating $2 million to and Born This Way Foundation to promote kindness in schools and ensure teachers and students have the resources they need for successful learning in classrooms.” Children are the future and this is a great way to ensure that they have the best one possible.

Say what you want about Gaga, but at least she uses her fame for good. More celebrities should follow her example.

Even through Lady Gaga played the Super Bowl in February, starred in American Horror Story: Hotel, is acting alongside Bradley Cooper and has more hits that you can count on your hands, she was seen working as a barista at Starbucks? So has Mama Monster hit hard times and needed to find a more steady job?

Not at all. She was behind the counter for a good cause. As she explained, “Dropped by @starbucks today [yesterday] to treat everyone to one of my #CupsOfKindness drinks supporting @btwfoundation! $.25 from each one sold through 6/19 is donated to the Foundation!”

Could you imagine walking in and seeing her serve coffee and tea? I wound be wondering what they put in my drink to make me see her because I would be on the Edge of Glory!

Katy Perry’s lyrics are perfect for a Soap Opera
April 5th, 2017 under 50 Cent, James Corden, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga. [ Comments: none ]

Throughout his reign of hosting The Late Late Show, James Corden has taken the lyrics of singers like Lady Gaga and Beyonce and turned them into a script for a Soap Opera. Yesterday, he used the words that come out of Katy Perry’s mouth, and made it the best one yet!

If you didn’t know they were her lyrics, you would swear those were real lines of dialogue. They are that believable. It could also be because that be piece of work I have ever seen Claire Danes do. She should give comedy a try because she has the chops for it. The only thing missing was her doing her ugly cry. When it comes to Christine Baranski and Jack McBrayer, we already know they can do comedy and drama, so this was perfect for them.

Seriously though, how much did you love the Days of our Katy Perry? It made my world turn because it was such a guiding light.

Lady Gaga shows future Super Bowl Halftime singers how its done!
February 5th, 2017 under Lady Gaga. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since Pepsi, the NFL and Fox announced that Lady Gaga was going to do the Halftime show at the Super Bowl, I couldn’t wait for it. I knew she was going to be one of the best ever and she didn’t disappoint. She started it off singing God Bless America and This Land Is Your Land on the rooftop. Which was a subtle and positive political message!
Then she was ready to jump into action, by jumping down and singing Poker Face. That was the next level of awesomeness. But there was one more level to go. Down to the stage to belt out and dance her a$$ off to Born This Way, Telephone (Where was Beyonce?), Just Dance and A Million Reasons before concluding with Bad Romance. All while having time to say hi to her parents who came to see the show!
That was one hell of a performance and believe it or not, it was only 13:33 long. It felt like a full concert. Which is why she deserved the right to drop that mic! I think we all dropped it for her!
I think we all became a little more gaga for Gaga tonight!
