FYI Jim Dial will be appear of the Murphy Brown revival!
August 21st, 2018 under Candice Bergen. [ Comments: none ]

We already know that Murphy Brown (Candice Bergen) is going to be joined by her co-workers Corky (Faith Ford), Miles (Grant Shaud) and Miles (Joe Regalbut0), but what about Jim Dial? Yesterday, the show’s creator Diane English shared a photo after a table read and said, “Charlie Kimbrough crushed it. Here’s a rehearsal scene of Jim Dial’s return to Phil’s bar.”

I do not know who is more excited about his return us or Regalbuto. I think we are a close second. Seriously, am I the only person who is happy to see FYI all together again?

Hopefully, now that the 82-year-old got a taste of what it is like being back on the show, we will see him more often.

The show’s first/eleventh season debuts on September 27th.

Your first look at the Murphy Brown revival set
July 25th, 2018 under Candice Bergen. [ Comments: none ]

Murphy Brown returns to CBS on Septmeber 27th after a 20 year hiatus, and yesterday the cast including Candice Bergen, Faith Ford, Grant Shaud, Joe Regalbuto and creator Diane English got together for their first table read on Murphy Brown 2.0 and we are getting our first glimpse at the set.

While the FYI stage is different, you can tell that her condo is the same. With a townhome like hers, why would anyone move? Proving we can go home again and I cannot wait to do that in two months.

The Book Club ladies have a message for Deadpool
May 16th, 2018 under Candice Bergen, Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Ryan Reynolds, Ted Danson Mary Steenburgen. [ Comments: none ]

Deadpool 2 and Book Club are both coming out on Friday, but everyone is focused on the movie with Ryan Reynolds in it. Well, the ladies have a message for him and they want him know they are just as good as him. That and they want to go all Fifty Shades of Grey with the DILF. Even Mrs. Ted Danson who played his mom in The Proposal. Can you blame Mary Steenburgen, Candice Bergen, Diane Keaton and Jane Fonda? He is a hot piece of a life-size red condom.

I cannot wait to see how Deadpool responds to the Anastasia Steele wannabes. You know it will be naughty, just how they all like it!

BTW what does it say about me that I would rather see Book Club over Deadpool 2?

FYI, The Murphy Brown together again!
April 6th, 2018 under Candice Bergen. [ Comments: none ]

We are months away from the revival of Murphy Brown returning to our airwaves, but that is not stopping the cast and the creator from getting together now. Yesterday, Nik Dodani, Candice Bergen, Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto, Grant Shaud and Diane English got together to talk about their show and all we got was this photo. Granted, it is a pretty awesome photo, that makes me more excited for the comedy to return to CBS in the fall. I just wish we did not have to wait that long.

When it comes to the original cast members, they have not aged a day in the 20 years since their sitcom ended the first time. Seriously, don’t they look fantastic?

Murphy Brown revival is in trouble?
March 16th, 2018 under Candice Bergen, CBS. [ Comments: none ]

CBS announced today who will play Murphy Brown’s son Avery and he is a show killer. Jake McDorman, who starred in Manhattan Love Story and Limitless, got the role. But he is as forgettable as his beard is not visible. Translation very forgettable.

I know that is a stupid reason not to like an actor, but that is why I cannot watch Jake’s shows. When I do watch his shows, I spend all my time trying to figure out if he has a beard or not. It is frustrating to me. Therefore, if CBS wants the show to succeed, they need to make him clean shaven.

What will his character be doing on the show? CBS says, “Murphy’s millennial journalist son who is following in his mother’s footsteps, perhaps too closely, and has his mother’s competitive spirit and quick wit.” I think it would be better if he was the opposite of his mom. What do you think of it all?
