Conan O’Brien inhaled one of Seth Rogen’s joints on the show
June 24th, 2021 under Conan O'Brien, Seth Rogen. [ Comments: none ]

I was once told in my advertising classes in college that you can’t drink alcohol on television. Well, imagine what the censors would do if someone smoked a joint on a talk show.

Yesterday, we found out when Conan O’Brien asked Seth Rogen what type of weed he should smoke. The actor took out a joint from his shirt pocket and gave it to the late night host to enjoy. Then Conan asked for a light because it is hard to get the full effect without it.

Once it was lit, Conan was lit as were Rogen and Andy Richter, who also took a hit. After they all had one, Rogen declared, “I am so happy with just what happened!” As are we.

Standards and Practices is not. However, there is nothing they can do. Marijuana is legal in California, and Conan only has two more episodes left of his talk show. It is not like they can fire him.

Before he gets to those two, he still had to finish interviewing Rogen. Did he get high as their chat continued? Just watch and see.

I am going to miss Conan because they don’t make talk show hosts like him anymore.

Oh, and in case you were wondering was this moment planned? Rogen said, “I smoked weed with
@ConanOBrien his show and was legit terrified that I got him too high haha. (This was a surreal and shocking moment for me and was genuinely unplanned)”

Did Paul Rudd finally show a different clip than the Mac and Me on Conan?
June 22nd, 2021 under Conan O'Brien, Paul Rudd. [ Comments: none ]

Paul Rudd has been a guest on Conan O’Brien’s late night talk shows for over 25 years. Every time he appears on the show, he makes sure to show a clip from a movie. Not the one he is promoting, but one from Mac and Me.

Yesterday, Rudd made a surprise appearance on Conan for the last week of the TBS show. Rudd promised to show a clip from an unaired Saturday Night Live skit he did with Bill Hader. Would this finally be the time that he would show something other than Mac and Me? Nope.

Then Rudd explained how it all came about. The Clueless actor thought it was “so artificial” to show a clip from the movie he was in, so he decided to show one from another movie. It was between showing the Mac and Me clip and one from Baby Geniuses. Eventually, we know which one he chose. Did he make the right choice? He made sure to show a clip; was it the one from Baby Geniuses? You are just going to have to watch the last chapter in a story that has been told for a quarter of a century.

Lisa Kudrow reveals all she can about the Friends reunion
May 13th, 2021 under Conan O'Brien, Friends (cast). [ Comments: none ]

We know that the cast of Friends shot the Friends reunion last month, and we want to know more. Therefore, when Lisa Kudrow was on Conan yesterday, he wanted her to spill all the beans. And she did.

Well, all she can tell him. That is because Warner Bros gave her some talking points. They are, “Joined by special guests, we will all, the cast, return to the original sound stage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros Studio Lot for an unscripted reunion special in celebration of the show.” In the words of Porky Pig, “Th-th-that’s all, folks.”

Well, maybe not all. She also said that the six of them ventured over to their Warner Bros’ other lot, a few blocks away, to shoot something by the infamous fountain. That’s right; it is not on the same lot where they shot the show. Here is another factoid, I used to live across the street from it! Not that you care, but I still told you. So there’s that.

And there are also some clips that are shown during the special that Kudrow hasn’t seen before. The actress revealed to O’Brien that she didn’t watch the later years of the sitcom. Not because she didn’t want to, it is because she had a kid, and he was more important.

Now that Kudrow has revealed all of that information about the HBO Man unscripted reunion, are you even more excited to see it?

Conan O’Brien announces his final air date on television
May 4th, 2021 under Conan O'Brien. [ Comments: none ]

Last year, it was announced that Conan O’Brien would be ending his TBS late night show this year. Now, we know when he will be filming his final episode.

Conan will be signing off from late-night television after almost 28 years on June 24th. Before he says goodbye in a one-hour special episode, he will have several of his favorite guests and bits on the show. I hope he finds a way to do another skit with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart before then.

While he won’t be on broadcast television anymore, he will be doing something with HBO Max. I can’t wait to see what he does because he is by far the best late night host on television in all of the categories.

Surprise, Will Forte is a dad!
April 6th, 2021 under Conan O'Brien, Will Forte. [ Comments: none ]

Will Forte has a lot of productions in the works, including a MacGruber series for Peacock, but he was working on one we didn’t know about.

Last year, when Forte was on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, his father revealed that his son is engaged to Olivia Modling. Yesterday, when the actor was on Conan, he told Conan O’Brien he and his fiancée welcomed their first child on February 15th. They had a baby girl and named her Zoe Douglas.

He is such a proud pop that he is keeping all of her momentoes, like her first diaper, umbilical cord, and nursery hat. He even showed them on the TBS show. On a positive note, at least he didn’t eat her placenta.

Seriously, he is such a sweet, doting dad. Zoe is lucky to have him as a dad, even if he sings songs from The Doors to her. Let’s just hope she doesn’t become an arsonist because he sang C’mon Baby Light My Fire to her one too many times.

On that note, Forte also talked about the time that Val Kilmer lived with him. One day the two of them spent the day singing songs from the legendary band. Oh, to have been a fly on the wall when that happened.
