Newman

Last month, Cliff Clavin did his own PSA via a Cameo about the United States Post Office. This month, it is Newman doing one saying that it is safe to vote by way of mail for PACRONYM.

If television’s most famous postal workers are telling you it is safe to mail back your ballots, then it is. Please do it now. Don’t wait.

As my friend told me. The earlier you get your ballot counted, the faster it will be you will stop getting calls about candidates and propositions. I just wish they could do the same for ads. Make them stop.

BTWF: Jerry Seinfeld doing standup at The Bottom Line
June 30th, 2020 under Before They Were Famous, Seinfeld. [ Comments: none ]

Before Jerry Seinfeld was headlining his own comedy specials, he was just one of the comedians doing stand up at The Bottom Line. While the material is still the same, can we talk about his feathered hair in 1979 when he was 25? He needs to go back to that hairdo.

What is, how well do you know Seinfeld?
May 18th, 2020 under Jason Alexander, Jeopardy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Seinfeld. [ Comments: none ]

Jeopardy wanted to see how well the contestants know Seinfeld, so they asked them some questions. Well, not Alex Trebeck, but the stars, Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Jason Alexander, themselves.

How well did they do? Of course, they got all the answers correct. I mean, who doesn’t everything about the show that is about nothing.

Larry David doesn’t want you to hurt old people like him
March 31st, 2020 under Seinfeld. [ Comments: none ]

The California Governor’s office asked Larry David to record a PSA for them. The Curb Your Enthusiasm star wants young people to curb their enthusiasm and stay inside. He wanted them to know that nothing good ever happens to his character when he goes outside. Although, with him staying inside, doesn’t that mean it is safe to go out? Which defeats the purpose of his PSA.

Would Jerry Seinfeld do a Seinfeld revival?
June 6th, 2019 under Seinfeld. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’90s a show about nothing dominated the airwaves. Therefore, it would make sense in the time of revivals, that Seinfeld would come back to make up for its atrocious finale.

Last year, when Jerry Seinfeld was on Ellen, he told her it was “possible” it could come back. Yesterday, when Extra spoke to him, they wanted to see if that was the still case. The comedian, who drives around in cars with other comedians and gets coffee, told them, “I really don’t imagine that, I cannot imagine that.”

Now we know he does not want to play Jerry Seinfeld again, what about a George, Elaine and/or Newman spinoff (Kramer is still persona non grata in Hollywood)? He said, “Can’t imagine that… The characters are created by the writing staff. Without the writing staff, you don’t have that person.” However, writing staffs do change throughout the run of a show, so it is possible to live on without those original writers.

In short, Seinfeld is willing to let his legacy be that sh!tty ending. He could do one more season. The gang has not spoken to each other since they got out of jail. They are reunited at Kramer’s funeral (he died when he was sliding into a freshly waxed apartment, slid all the way through it, eventually out the open window and landed on a car with the license plate Manssiere) and it is like no time passed between them.

Do you want to see the show about nothing be something again?
