Quentin Tarantino is looking for some whores
June 6th, 2016 under Quentin Tarantino. [ Comments: 1 ]

Quentin Tarantino is asking for some whores between 18-35 who are sizes between 2 and 8. Why? Not to be his girlfriend, but to be in the upcoming movie he is producing.
According to Woman and Hollywood, a Casting Agent posted the above ad on Facebook that reads, “Casting Whores for Quentin Tarantino project. Caucasian, non-union females, ages 18–35. Western film shoots June 21st-25th in Los Angeles. No highlights, natural eyebrows, natural breasts, natural hair color to be true to the period. Dress sizes 2–8. Please send photo, including sizes.” To make matters worse, they asked the actress, who want be considered for the role, to put “whore” in the subject line.
As a woman I find that disgusting. There are ways to get around casting the role without just saying whores. You know say something like Western casting women who work in a Brothel. Don’t make the extras, who will get paid less than the working women of that era, degrade themselves like that. They wouldn’t say Gigolos or male whores to cast man to play the same type of role. Would they? And on that note, why don’t they cast more male whores in movies. I want to see that! I guess that kind of negates my point, or does it make it stronger?

Diane Kruger says Peter O’Toole is the ‘meanest actor’ she’s worked with
April 28th, 2016 under Quentin Tarantino. [ Comments: none ]

Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus have gotten along so great while and after filming The Sky, that people wondered if there was something between them. Which there is not.
But, when the two of them interviewed each other for Buzzfeed, he wanted to know who was the “meanest actor you’ve ever worked with?” She didn’t hesitate when she told him it was her Troy co-star, the legendary Peter O’Toole. She said, “I know! It kind of sucked. He’s dead, so I can say that. But he wasn’t the most pleasant person.” As their chat went on, The Walking Dead star wanted to know why she didn’t like her now dead co-star. She told him, “He was just a drunk, and Peter O’Toole. You know, he had a two-day part, and I played Helen of Troy and he was Peter O’Toole, and he just wanted to make sure that everybody knew that he was Peter O’Toole. And he could barely make it up the stairs. We were on a set that was — you know, you have to climb, like, I don’t know, 100 steps to go up.” Then she continued, “But to work with, he was just — first of all, everybody thought he was gonna die right there and then. Because it was, you know, 120 degrees, and he had to walk up 100 stairs. And he was very old, and very drunk.”
Yeah, but he was Peter O’Toole, he could that because he was Peter O’Toole. He earned for the right for everyone to know that he was Peter O’Toole.

Quentin Tarantino claims Disney kicked him out of the Cinerama Dome
December 17th, 2015 under Howard Stern, Quentin Tarantino, Star Wars. [ Comments: none ]

There are many great movie theaters in Los Angeles, but one of the prime ones is the Cinerama Dome. It is a theater with a larger screen wrapped around the rounded theater’s front wall. Because of that you feel like you are almost in the film as you watch it. So of course everyone wants their movie screened there, but only one film can be shown there at a time.
As soon as Quentin Tarantino knew the release date for The Hateful Eight, he asked Arclight Cinemas if he could show it there. He says they agreed to start showing it there on Christmas when the movie comes out.
Well tonight, the most anticipated movie is coming out and Star Wars has that particular theater booked. According to Tarantino for two weeks, which means it would still be there next week.
The director told Howard Stern that Arclight told him on Tuesday that Disney said that they want to keep the Cinerama Dome for the whole holiday season. Taratino goes on to claim that Disney said that if the movie chain didn’t keep Stars Wars in that theater, they would pull the movie from all of the Arclight Cinemas.
So here’s the problem with QT’s story, he says that Disney had it booked for two weeks. Well the release date for this movie has been known for over a year, so we know that would get them through New Year’s if comes out on the 18th aka tonight. So did the Arclight double book the Cinerama Dome? Is QT doing a woe is me? Is the Archlight lying to him because they don’t want to tell him the truth that they would rather have the bigger budget film in that theater that holds over 800 people instead of his smaller independent movie that has an intermission? Which movie is more likely to sell out every performance? Star Wars or The Hateful Eight? Let’s be real, even in LA it will be Star Wars! Plus, which movie are people more likely to see on Christmas? Families will want to take their kids there because it is the 2nd best place to the see the blockbuster in Los Angeles and it’s cheaper than the first place which is the El Capitan. So I don’t buy his story and I side with Disney and Arclight on this one. I mean if I were going to see Star Wars, I would want to see it there because it truly is a great way to experience for a film like this one.
Is your force with Disney or with Quentin?

BTWF roles: Christoph Waltz in Parole Chicago
November 12th, 2014 under Before They Were Famous, Quentin Tarantino. [ Comments: none ]

Before Christoph Waltz was capturing Jews in Inglourious Basterds, he was trying to catch a cat in Parole Chicago. How purrfect was the 22 year old in that 1979 episode? The two time Oscar winner was such a cute man in his 20’s, and he grew up to be the really handsome distinguished one that we know now.

Christoph Waltz makes one of the happiest songs, depressing
November 12th, 2014 under Jimmy Kimmel, Quentin Tarantino. [ Comments: none ]

Christoph Waltz was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and he told the ABC late night host how much he loves Sesame Street. But when he described the show, it didn’t sound like the one that you and I grew up on. So Kimmel asked him if he knew the theme song; and when the Inglourious Basterd said he did, Jimmy asked him to sing it. Then the newest horrible boss, stood up and sang the happy tune as he knows it. Although his version is much darker and more depressing than the one we have been hearing since infancy. It actually brought tears to my eyes.
Ladies and gentlemen, and that is why he has two Oscars to him name in just the last five years. Bravo! Bravo!
