The Orville gets delayed again
February 4th, 2022 under Hulu, Seth MacFarlane. [ Comments: none ]

Way back in 2019, Fox cancelled The Orville, even though they renewed it for another season, and Hulu saved it. After all of this time, you would have thought that we would’ve gotten new episodes by now, but we haven’t.

Things had been quiet for a long time, but then Seth MacFarlane announced in September that the third season would finally premiere on March 22nd. Well, things changed, and today, he revealed a new premiere date.

To all The Orville fans: Thanks for being so patient with us as we’ve navigated the production challenges resulting from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. As occasionally happens, our show has been repositioned amidst the ever-changing television schedule landscape, which means that the wait will be just a bit longer, and we’re now preparing for a June 2nd launch on Hulu.

We’ve always promised you a television experience that will make it worth the wait, and we’re not wavering on that. We understand the frustration you’re feeling over more delays, so we want to give you a little taste of what’s to come. Here’s a sneak peek at the first few minutes of our season opener, and our new main title!

At this point, it is more like a revival than a new season. I feel like Family Guy was off the air for less time when Fox cancelled it.

When the new episodes finally start streaming, I will need a refresher because I honestly don’t remember what happened. I think it takes place in space in the future. It has been so long it might be present-day at this point,

Am I mad? No, because I know he is going to give us a show that is out of this world. Get it? I will be here all week!

The Orville finally gets a premiere date
September 23rd, 2021 under Hulu, Seth MacFarlane. [ Comments: none ]

Fox renewed The Orville for a third season, but then they changed their minds. Thankfully, Hulu said we’d love to go on a ride with Seth MacFarlane in his bizarre spaceship and saved the show.

That was back in 2019. Since then, there has been no word when we will finally get new episodes. That was until today. The streaming service and the ship’s captain announced the series will be back on March 22, 2022. That is just six months from now.

That means I have six months to rewatch the first two seasons to remember what happened. I mean, it is not like we went through a global pandemic since then. So I might have forgotten what the show is about and what happened.

Anyways, I am happy that we are getting more of The Orville. I would say soon, but six months is still a long ways away during the time of COVID-19.

Stewie Griffin explains why we all need the COVID vaccine
September 21st, 2021 under Seth MacFarlane. [ Comments: none ]

Scientists, doctors, newspeople, some of your family and friends have told you to get the COVID-19 vaccine, but you just won’t listen. Instead, you would rather listen to a trust fund baby, who got the shot, or some random guy on Facebook, tell you not to. So now, whenever you turn on the news, you find out that people are dying from something they don’t have to because they are listening to the same COVidiots as you.

How can we get the message across since you are not listening to the people in the know? How about the people in the know go to Seth MacFarlane, and have his Family Guy characters spell out in terms even you can understand. That is what they did.

So MacFarlane created a short PSA with Stewie and Bryan teaching everyone how vaccines work. If a baby and a dog can figure it, why can’t you?

Get the shot already. I want to party likes it 2019 again? The only way we can do it is if everyone gets it. No matter what fake news that trust fund tells you, the shot is better than COVID-19. Ask people who had it if they want it again. If they say that they do, then you know they are sub so get a whip and put them in their place.

Stop being selfish, and think of others. You are not only getting the shot for yourself. You are getting it for all of the people you love. Actually, you are getting it for everyone else in the world. This is a global pandemic, and we all want it to go away. But that can’t happen if you won’t get the vaccine.

I can’t wait until the day when I don’t have to talk about coronavirus ever again. Instead, we can talk about the season premiere of Family Guy this Sunday on Fox! Who doesn’t love Meg?

Thank you, Seth MacFarlane. Hopefully, this will work.

Ted is coming to Peacock without Marky Mark!
June 10th, 2021 under Peacock, Seth MacFarlane. [ Comments: none ]

There is some f*cking good news in the teddy bear world today. Ted is coming back. Not as a full feature movie with Mark Wahlberg, but as a 10-episode prequel on Peacock.

“Seth has a superpower of creating fandoms and Ted is a shining example of his ability to create beloved characters that we can’t get enough of,” NBCUniversal Entertainment Content chairman Susan Rovner said in a statement to THR. “We are so lucky to bring this project to Peacock viewers who will have an opportunity to see their favorite foul-mouthed teddy bear once again.”

MacFarlane will reprise the voice of the foul-mouthed stuffed animal, along with writing and directing the first episode.

However, when that will be, is anyone’s guess. That is because we are still waiting for him to finish the third season of Orvillefor Hulu. He better hurry up, or we will be in the same year as the year the show takes place.

Even Stewie Griffin wants you to get the vaccine
May 1st, 2021 under Coronavirus, Seth MacFarlane. [ Comments: none ]

We are making great strides in getting the COVID-19 vaccine into people’s arms. Sadly, we still have a long way to go.

Therefore, Stewie Griffin, who normally wants to kill everyone, wants you to get the shot. He is not stupid. Right now, he is too young to get it. So he needs everyone who can to do it. This way, he is protected until the vax is deemed safe for babies.

Stop being selfish! It is not that bad. I am fully vaccinated with the Pfizer, and the flu shot had worse side effects.

Think of Stewie; what would Family Guy be without him?
