Ed Sheeran and Elton John have a holiday song out now called Merry Christmas. Like most singles, they shot a music video for it. And it was almost John’s last one. That is because when Sheeran was kicking some of the decorations, he accidentally kicked a bell that nearly hit his singing partner in the head. That would’ve been the end of both of their careers. Thankfully, he missed.
Ed Sheeran is this generation’s Elton John, so it is nice to know that they are friends. So much so, John asked Sheeran to do a Christmas with him, and he agreed. Not only that, Sheeran wrote the chorus the day that John asked him about it.
How did Merry Christmas turn out? Listen and tell me what you think.
Ed Sheeran and Elton John are releasing a Christmas song, and today we got a sneak peek of their performance of it. But the bigger gift is we finally got a peek at Sheeran’s legs. Who knew?
He needs to stop wearing jeans and switch to shorts! Although, if he did, would we care that he was singing? He would be like, take a Photograph; it will last longer.
Glasses are such a part of Elton John’s face, it is weird to see him without them. So why did he take them off? To show off his eyewear line that is now available at Sam’s Club and Walmart.
I checked them out, and I could write a song about them. I will tell everybody this is their song, and it won’t be one of those Sad Songs.
Back in January 2018, Elton John announced that he was going to do one more world tour, and then he was going to retire from the road.
He started the tour and then came COVID-19. That put his plans on hold indefinitely.
Since then, John revealed that something happened to him, and today he announced that he will have to postpone his tour again.
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I am forced to reschedule the 2021 dates of my Farewell Yellow Brick Road four in Europe and the UK to 2023.
At the end of my summer break I fell awkwardly on a hard surface and have been in considerable pain and discomfort in my hip ever since. Despite intensive physio and specialist treatment, the pain has continued to get worse and is leading to increasing difficulties moving. I have been advised to have an operation as soon as possible to get me back to full fitness and make sure there are no long-term complications. I will be undertaking a program of intensive physiotherapy that will ensure a full recovery and a return to full mobility without pain.
I know how patient my incredible fans have been since Covid halted touring last year, and it breaks my heart to keep you waiting any longer. I completely feel your frustrations after the year we’ve had. I promise you this – the shows will return to the road next year and I will make sure they are more than worth the wait.
Knowing the show he puts on; I am sure it will be worth the wait. He is someone that I think everyone should see live at least once. There is only one Elton, so go see him while you can during the longest farewell tour in music history.
