Even President Joe Biden thinks Ke Huy Quan is a national treasure
May 11th, 2023 under Ke Huy Quan, Politics. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’80s, we fell in love with Ke Huy Quan when he starred in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Goonies.

Then this year, we just adored his sincere delight about being recognized by Hollywood again. He was as excited to see all of the celebrities at events as they were to see him. And he couldn’t control his happiness when he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.

His joy made brought joy to all of us. So much so the Vietnam native is an American treasure.

And I hope that is what President Joe Biden declared that yesterday when he met the actor at the White House. How could POTUS not make that declaration after that greeting?

I am sure that little boy on the boat with his family never thought he would someday be invited to the 1600 Penn. But he was! And that is what America is all about.

Quan is living the American dream, and I hope we never wake up from it!

Joe Exotic is running for President in 2024
March 15th, 2023 under Politics. [ Comments: none ]

Joe Exotic might be in federal prison, but that isn’t stopping him from running for President of the United States in 2024 as a Libertarian.

He said, “Keep your right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Free America from the controlling left and right.” After that, he explained what he plans to do if he were POTUS.

A big thing for him is prison reform because he wants to be set free. In case you missed Tiger King, he is serving time for his alleged part in the murder-for-hire plot to kill Carole Baskin.

When it comes to his platform, it is not as bad as you would think it would be. The Republicans’ plan is so much worse.

Does he have my vote? Hell no! But I would vote for him over a Republican. But I am still voting Democrat for so many reasons.

This is not the first time he has run for President; he also did it in 2016 before we knew who he was. The good old days.

President Joe Biden had a cancerous skin lesion removed from his chest
March 3rd, 2023 under Politics. [ Comments: none ]

White House/Instagram

Last month, Joe Biden had a skin lesion removed from his chest during his annual physical, and today the White House doctor announced that it was basal cell carcinoma. It is a very common form of skin cancer and often doesn’t require any further treatment after it is removed.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor told AP that “all cancerous tissue was successfully removed.” Therefore, the President will just have to get regular skin examinations.

Biden said he spent a lot of time in the sun when he was younger, so he has had several moles removed from his body. However, this is the first one to come back cancerous.

So if you like the sun, make sure to use sunscreen. And if you have moles, make sure to get them checked so that they can catch it early. I know I need to do better because basal cell runs in my family.

Joe Biden has COVID-19
July 21st, 2022 under Coronavirus, Politics. [ Comments: none ]

Joe Biden has been able to avoid catching COVID-19 throughout his presidency. But that is no longer the case. That is because the President of the United States tested positive for coronavirus today.

Kevin C. O’Connor, D.O., FAAFP Physician to the President, wrote, “This morning, as part of our routine screening program for the President, the SARS-CoV-2 virus was detected by antigen testing. This result was subsequently confirmed via Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing.

On questioning, President Biden is currently experiencing mild symptoms, mostly rhinorrhea (or ‘runny nose) and fatigue, with an occasional dry cough, which started yesterday evening. Given that he meets US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) criteria for PAXLOVID, I have recommended initiating such treatment.

“The President is fully vaccinated and twice-boosted, so I anticipate that he will respond favorably, as most maximally protected patients do. Early use of PAXLOVID in this case provides additional protection against severe disease. He will isolate in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. I will keep your office updated with any changes in his condition or treatment plan.”

Thankfully, the President is only experiencing mild symptoms. Hopefully, he will be better soon and back to running the country as he has been.
