Chucky goes nuclear tonight
April 17th, 2024 under Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, Chucky returned to Syfy and USA Network for the second part of his third bloody season, and he made a killing. As in, the killer doll killed the President of the United States (Devon Sawa). Because Gd forbid Sawa not get killed at least once before the season finale.

But that was last week. Tonight at 10p, the White House wants to keep the President’s murder a secret for the time being. So, they come up with a plan with the First Lady (Lara Jean Chorostecki). And she has to keep the secret from their sons, Grant (Jackson Kelly) and Henry (Callum Vinson).

Grant is hanging with his new friends, Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), Jake (Zackary Arthur), and Devo (Björgvin Arnarson) at the White House.

And they all come together for a final moment you do not want to miss.

But I said too much. And what I didn’t tell you is that Lind sings a hauntingly beautiful version of Blue Oyster Cult’s Don’t Fear the Reaper.

I know I am being vague, but it is because it is an episode you need to experience. And yes, there will be more deaths…

Is that really you, Megan Fox?
April 17th, 2024 under Megan Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Megan Fox shared a makeup-free selfie of herself wearing a bra and plaid PJ bottoms. Even though she says it is her, people, including me, are questioning if it is her. That is because, as you can see, she looks nothing like herself.

The actress looks more like a Kardashian than Megan Fox.

I used to think she was one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood. But now, she is plain Jane because of the work she has gotten done.

Maybe it is the pressure we put on her because we were so focused on her beauty.

Hopefully, she is happy with herself. Because at the end of the day, that is all that matters.

But, man. She just looks so different than the person we watched grow up in front of the cameras.

Dr. Pepper gets Dirty
April 17th, 2024 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

Utah, the state that gave us Soaking, is also giving us Dirty soda. What is that? You take a Cola or a Root Beer and add heavy cream, coconut-flavored syrup, and lime.

And on May 1st, Dr. Pepper is letting us bring that flavor home with the limited edition Dr. Pepper Creamy Coconut.

Does this sound like something you want to try? Don’t wait too long to give it a taste because it will only be available until July.

For All Mankind will be back and it won’t be alone
April 17th, 2024 under Apple TV+. [ Comments: none ]

Apple TV+ announced today that it picked up For All Mankind for a fifth season. But the good news did not stop there; the streamer is also adding a spinoff that takes it back to the beginning of the alternate timeline.

Star City is a propulsive paranoid thriller that takes us back to the key moment in the alt-history retelling of the space race – when the Soviet Union became the first nation to put a man on the moon. But this time, we explore the story from behind the Iron Curtain, showing the lives of the cosmonauts, the engineers, and the intelligence officers embedded among them in the Soviet space program, and the risks they all took to propel humanity forward.

“Our fascination with the Soviet space program has grown with every season of ‘For All Mankind,’” said executive producers Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi. “The more we learned about this secret city in the forests outside Moscow where the Soviet cosmonauts and engineers worked and lived, the more we wanted to tell this story of the other side of the space race. We could not be more excited to continue building out the alternate history universe of ‘For All Mankind’ with our partners at Apple and Sony.”

So, what can we expect from the mothership? We don’t know yet, but it is going to get a whole lot more interesting as their timeline approaches ours. I’d love to see how the space program would handle COVID. Maybe we all go up to Mars to get away from it? Or perhaps they just never get coronavirus because their timeline is so much more advanced than ours. I mean, Al Gore was their President. Need I say more?

The Rock knocked Will Smith down a notch
April 17th, 2024 under Guinness World Records, The Rock, Will Smith. [ Comments: none ]

The Rock/Instagram

Will Smith used to be the actor with the most followers on TikTok. However, The Rock took the Fresh Prince down with a People’s Elbow.

The Guinness Book of World Records announced today that Dwayne Johnson now stands at 74.4 million followers while Smith is not far behind with an even 74.

I cannot believe Smith has that many because his feed is boring as compared to DJ’s. But then again, DJ’s is not the best either.
