Scoop got the scoop from first people who have seen Valkyrie and looks like Tom Cruise has another huge bomb to add to his credits!!!
A scene where Cruise’s character, Claus Von Stauffenberg, is forced to give the infamous “Heil Hitler†salute. “It’s an unsettling scene but you almost start to laugh,” the source says. “His character is resisting it but you never forget it’s Tom Cruise saying ‘Heil Hitler.’ It’s funny and shocking at the same time.â€
Sources also described a scene where Cruise’s character Claus Von Stauffenberg removes a false eye. “It was disgusting,†said one person who saw the film. “It was like watching someone pluck their contacts out.â€
“The film just isn’t a thriller at all†said one “Valkyrie†viewer. “It’s a bunch of white guys in Nazi uniforms. It’s too bad. And Tom doesn’t speak with a German accent — though they did add a voiceover of him speaking German to the beginning of the film. Still, it’s as if he could say ‘I complete you’ at any time. This is not his Oscar moment.â€
Ewww…he takes his eye out. Nasty. I think I could have lived without that scene, not that I was planning on seeing the movie in the first place. And when it comes to accent, I never realized that he is playing a Nazi without a German accent until that person pointed out. If you listen to the trailer you can hear it is Tom Cruise’s regular American accent. Sad, but funny.

The movie would’ve been good without the american accents…the scene where the children come down stairs shouting: Poppy’s home! is so stupid. it sounds like they are saying: Puppy’s home! stupid, stupid, movie, and tom cruise is such a bad actor. I know the history of what really happened then, and movie got a lot of it right, but you think they’d get some good actors! Tom Hollander was the only good actor there, and the only actor who actually used a German accent only did so because hes actually German!
