Big city trouble hits con-woman Diana McQueen (Daphne Zuniga) when she decides to call it quits with her relentless boss, Tom Rourke (Greg Evigan). But the only way out is to switch places with a friend who had planned on becoming a mail-order-bride to a very unsuspecting groom-to-be waiting for her on the Old West frontier. For those of you who want a Western where the woman is the heroine than Hallmark Channel’s Mail Order Bride is the movie for you! Daphne Zuniga plays Diana, an owned woman who cons men and after her pimp accuses of her stealing $10,000 and shoots her brother (who is a Priest) she flees to her best friend, who is dying. But before her friend dies she tells he she is a Mail Order a bride and that she should take her place. Diana leaves Boston and takes her friend’s place, but how long will her sham last especially after her owner comes to claim his property?

It’s going to on again on Friday at 8pm central. I watched it and it was OK, except for the unbelievability of a nearly 50 year old woman (and looking EVERY bit of it) being called “a girl”.
