Estelle Getty passed away today, 3 days short of her 85th birthday.
She will always be remembered as the lovable and feisty Sophia Petrillo.
She will live on with The Golden Girls repeats, so please go home and watch her tonight on Lifetime I know I will be!
Thank you Estelle Getty for all the laughs, you were a true genius.

I GO TO BED EVERYNITE WITH THE GOLDEN GIRLS ON MY DVD. I WAS JUST THINKING LAST NITE, WHICH ONE IS THE FUNNIEST.. I AM TRULY SADDENED BY HER DEATH. I KNEW SHE WAS SICK AND WAS WORRIED ABOUT HER AND ALL 3 OF THE OTHERS. EVERYNITE AS I HAVE FOR YRS.
