Normally I hate remakes of movies, but I am actually like excited for this one. The music was so much fun and it could actually work if the movie is done right. It would be totally awesome if they like cast Nicolas Cage as the dad, don’t you like think?
Blogger note: When I saw this movie as a kid, I so wanted to be a Valley Girl and now I am one!!! Like wow!
hey there…this is Heidi Holicker, I played “Stacey” in Valley Girl. Just read your comments and I think it’s pretty cool that this is going to be a musical. I am totally excited.
Even though I first saw “Valley Girl” back in ‘93,it remains one of my fave movies.Nicolas & Cameron are hilarios, the guy who plays Deborah’s ex is a dik & Deborah,Michelle,Elizabeth & Heidi are hot!(Not to mention sexy Lee Purcell as Michelle’s mom).I would have been only 13 in ‘83 & when I first watched VG 10 years later,I remember having a crush on Heidi Holicker who played ‘Stacey’.(Is it just me or do Heidi & Michelle kinda look alike in the movie lol?)Anyway, you may have a decade on me Heidi but wherever you are, you’re probably still hot(& married)….sigh! Awesome movie yal!

Trey funny about your comment cause I first saw this movie in 84 and I was 13 at the time and I had a crush on Heidi Holicker (Stacey) vs. the other girls. Although I thought Michelle Meyrink was naturally beautiful and Elizabeth is hot, but Heidi represented the quinsential of the girls as I could always remember the scene she had with Fred chasing her around the car. From that moment I had raging hormones of her character. Although I met a girl like that in my teens, which was memorable cause we had a love/hate relationship in the beginning till we explored a relationship together till I went away to college and fell in love with somebody else. But I and a friend of mine loved Heidi and thought she was the most beautiful one vs. the other girls and I hope she has a role in the musical! Heidi if your reading this you should do the musical and play Beth, the sexy stepmom!
