"I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention," she tells Gold Derby. "In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials."
Maybe the reason they didn't write for her is because her acting is so freaking annoying and the only people that can stand her on the show are her husband, herself and her over-sized ego! Hopefully she will follow Dr Burke (Issaiah Washington) off the show soon! I will not miss her at all! But I wonder what the writers will do to Dr Izzie Stevens until she is finally off the show.
Hopefully her movies will continue to fail like 27 Dresses and she will get over herself.
