It is no secret that David Cook's brother Adam has brain cancer and Adam has only been out to see his little brother once since the show started. He has only been out once because it is expensive for him to get out her because of his medical needs. The first time he was out here, Terre Haute, Indiana rallied together to make his trip possible. Now David Cook's fans are asking us to all rally together and help to raise the $80,000 needed to get Adam Cook to see his little brother in the finale in two weeks because you know David is going to be there! UPDATE: Someone asked why the $80,000 request, well it costs $78,000 to Medivac from Indiana to Los Angeles for his medical needs and the rest is for his hotel stay while he in in LA.

Wouldn’t that money be better put to use on actual medical expenses? And, if David Cook actually is successful (i know, not a great chance of that), is he going to pay all of these people back? I mean this is just getting ridiculous…this is all a ploy to get votes & it disgusts me. American Idol SUCKS this year, there is not 1 talented person on there (since Michael Johns)…
Why can’t FOX foot the bill to fly David Cook’s brother and family to the finale? They’re making a fortune from this show. The least they could do is fly the families of the contestants to the finale.
